I’m still trying to figure out why some of my plants throw bananas after week 8. Watering related I’m sure but there’s been other plants that seemed perfect and I just couldn’t figure it out. I thought plants that throw bananas aren’t genetic hermie but can be genetically predispositioned to be sensitive.
100% its in genetics if no stress or anything else. I have some s2 white rhino there was 3 of 9 that didnt herm and always started late. I got these seeds from non smoker only seller he cant be selecting correctly for this they herm dont make a cut dont breed with it. If thats what ure goal is. I think fems are ok i dont enjoy growing them but theres alota ways fem plants can get back a male chromosome j heard ethos talk about it on the dgc show

I just went back to regular seeds this new run coming along in veg. Bodhi Gear. Did you find the fems to be more hermie prone?

No seeds that I can see starting on this current jack 47. I’ve been really inspecting. Last run the jack 47 (first pic) got seeded along with every other plant from a few actual pollen sacks on one of the jacks at week 4. Those couple hidden lower sacks put around a hundred seeds in each of my plants

You can see them tips definate look lil heavy on the ec or ph can be out causing the plant to get more of one macro than the other can lead to this. Whats her trichs like. She looks pretty swelled wk 11 ?
I may have fed her a little heavy. She’s been pretty green almost 12 weeks of 12/12

Yeah this is prevalent problem. With them as only have female chromsomes i think its more chance to try reproduce. But when a plant selfed or herms and pollinates itself the seeds can bring out more variation in less amount popped

Makes sense to me. My dinachem won’t throw bananas no matter how rough things get it seems. The blue widows aren’t throwing. The cheese didn’t except one threw a cluster right before harvest. I think the jack 47 is just a bit sensitive and not for me until I really dial everything in. Balls on one in the first run and bananas on another both runs.

The yellowing is from soap and water messing with spider mites
Ive never seen burn just tipps like that. And ive killed plants spraying neem full sun. Spraying homemade white oilway to strong. It is more like patchey almost holes as it is burning the leaf and u get deform like twist and just bad. Those leaves are dead straight. Could it be roots? Are they bounding. As this will show different things all at one. E.g. looks over watered and underwaterd same plant

I was talking about the yellowing on a few top fan leaves being from soap and water left sitting on them regularly. It caused the yellow and curl up on edges of bigger fans one main branch. The tips are probably too much nutes.

The leaves definitely get like this wirh every plant that I’ve gone heavy in certain places. The yellowing and weird edges. Pot was actually a tad big. This plant was transplanted from 2 gallon to 5 gallon 2 weeks into flower. I feared root bound cause last time I gotta crazy root growth a good ways into flower. Pot is staying wet too long now, about 5 days. A moisture issue for sure I’d guess

I heard the guys on utube saying if your plant doesnt need to be fed daily theres a problem 2 at most.

It’s just not filled with enough roots to drink fast. Lower few inches of pot I suspect is really thin on roots. If in a smaller pot it would drink faster. You’re right though about a moisture problem. It’s not bad enough to where uptake is affected. No deficiencies that alarm me. Letting her fade now

Thats how ppl get huge in coco and apparently u run 20% run off to waste. Do not give it to them unless its a recirculating nute. But the plants taken all it can outa the water so when u feed it. Its gonna throw it out
