Transplanting clones from soil to hydro

Hello,

Can anyone confirm if these clones are sitting in a soil pod? I plan on transplanting them to a DWC system tomorrow. What would be the best way to transplant these considering the roots have already grown through the rockwool?

why can't you just stick them in a net pot as is? Surround the rockwool with some hydroton maybe...

Would it be bad to have the soil get into the nutrient water below though?

Thats just a little peat pellet. It won't make its way into your solution or hurt anything.

It will be a non issue as long as that cube is high enough in the pot that it doesn't wick up water directly. Personally I'd cut away at the cube, pruning it into a smaller cube around 2"^3
