Tobacco Mosaic Virus or not?

Did you use LED lights on the babies? I have 3-4 haze plants that all have "hook" leaves here and there from an LED light that was too close when they were young clones and they're about 3 weeks from harvest. No issues except a hook here and there.

Yes I do, but babes are at least 12-15 inches from them

Yeah, I was 30" away. Had to move up to 36" after I saw two burned young fan leaves. The others didn't show any burns but had the hook claw thing going after they started flowering. The one that showed the burn leaves hooked worse. These are all clones, 3 different plants.

Broad mites are commonly spread by flies. But in your case the hook is symmetrical so it is more likely a genetic trait.

Rised lamps 40", hope that helps.

Should not be bad genetics... Those all are sensi seeds, and they are fucking expensive.

So TMV cannot be presented on cannabis plant? Just wondering why the hell all of those growing websites claim that it is possible...

Because there is a bunch of misinformation out there. Just because someone makes a website and puts up content doesn't mean that content is accurate.

Another one of those topics :wall: ..either way it's not thought to have any negative effect on the plant and most plants grow out of it, whatever it is? Good luck!
Sorry about that there is just so much misinformation up there, made me panic...

here is some new photos of girls... What it could be, and should I kill them?

I'd treat that with a systemic copper fungicide while they are still small, you know, just in case....

That reminds me, I have a cactus outdoors that needs a spraying.

After looking at the new pictures......
AND
Having just fought off some of the bastards...

Some them kids look like RUSSET MITES.....

Oh do I feel for you....
Forbid 4F spray the whole plant lightly.
7 days later
AVID spray the w a bit more, to like dripping a bit.
7 days later
Forbid again
7 days later
AVID again

SPRAY ALL THE PLANTS YOU HAVE!

Simple way?
Kill and remove all plants.
Sanitize everything in the grow area, and I mean EVERYTHING!! over, under, behind, walls, floors, ceiling,,,bottles -- everything!

They are suicidal because they hate their environment. What's that hairy shit in your soil? Is it re-used stuff? Something is out of whack in the root zone.
Nope, fresh cheapo(hairy) brick coco, well washed and buffered...

Dr.Who, thanks a lot for jumping in!!! This may sound weird but I have been thinking about calling you :D
You saved my ass last time, thanks for that, girls did recovered well from root rot and I did 1 g/w!

I never look for a simple way :D
Do you mean that if I have russet mites they are mostly likely to be on every plant? I have 50 plants and only 5 of them are showing these symptoms. Could the rest have some kind of immune maybe? Larger girls that I moved to flower room are not showing any symptoms either...
BTW strange but the first plant that look the worst, is growing faster then others...

Thanks a lot for pointing to russet mites, now I do know what I am facing!!!
I was having nightmares about the TMV :wall:

We dont have neither Forbid neither AVID available here (Finland) :(, forbid does contain spiromesifen so I'll try to find something with that. Do you know what the AVID cointains?

Abamectin

The first plant pictured looks quite like possible Russet Mites, same for pic 5....The others, not so much....It is slow to progress (in a way) and not as slow to spread.

You may only have a phenotypic expression....."I" and a cpl others I know, have had a strain in pheno hunting express that "crinkly" leaf pattern.....It was the most potent pheno from the hunt too..

Isolate it and the other you feel are effected......Carefully watch those for worsening conditions......Mites = treat....If, they start growing out of it.....Pay close attention to those those come out...

TMV no, NOT TMV!

Cannabis does NOT get TMV......Use my name as a search filter on this site and search TMV...

update: back and looked at the pics again.....Pics 1-2-5 look very much like Russet damage.

There is a hops mosaic that can infect cannabis.....Got any Hops growing around you? Say like with in a few miles? Do they have a problem? I doubt it though...

Thanks, Dr.Who!

Went to the only local growing store around here.
They sold me local brand acaricide containing Pyridaben 200g/kg and a liquid one brand new acaricide that contains Hexythiazox 250g/l.
The last one is suppose to destroy all the eggs, and make male sterilized so they cannot reproduce.

They suggested to first use the Pyridaben one, and 3 days later the second one, and repeat.
What do you think is 3 days enough?

Yes already read your posts about TMV, that was a big relief :) too much missinformation on web.

I sprayed all the plants including just went to flowering 6 girls (they were all in the same tent before).
Just wondering how I got these bastards there, I do not buy clones or grow any other plants, except a tiny cactus.

I had one plant awhile back that had the same crumpled up leaves. I looked it over real good to see if it was pests. I couldn't find anything. It was growing in coco and being fed the same as other plants that didn't exhibit the same leaf deformity. The first leaves were normal and then it just started growing funky for a couple of nodes and then it started growing normal again. I let it grow and harvested it. I've had the same thing happen before a couple times. It's only happened with feminized seeds. There might not be any correlation but it is one observation I've made. It was like a teenager developing acne and then growing out of it.
