Need help choosing LEDs for my setup (specific thread for newbies seems to be closed now)

Hello everybody!
First of all, sorry for my english. And sorry for possible incorrect use of imperial measurement units.
Got tired and frustrated with buying weed from all kinds of shady individuals and decided that it's time to provide myself with own supply :)
Thus thinking about initial setup. Already read a lot of information, but most of it looks outdated and often contradicts each other.
Desired set up size is 2-4 plants not taller than 1 meter. I believe that should fit 70x70x160 growtent (2.5'x2.5'x5' if not mistaken). The one I'm aiming at now is Mars Hydro 28x28x64 1680d - according to the reviews the quaity is ok, it's not expensive and they deliver from Germany (which's a great plus as I live in Europe). Before I was looking at 60x60x140 tent, but seems that 140 is too short for LED lights.
I definitely need help choosing lights for this one. Don't want to go with neither CFL's nor HIDs, aiming at LEDs.
At first I was thinking about bying some 300w analog VIPARSPECTRA or MARS HYDRO, but further investigation revealed that there so-called "blurple" lights are a pretty crappy choise :)
Many people seems to be quite happy using HLG quantum boards, but there're many of them and I don't know which one to choose for my desired grow size.
Regading budget - it'll be nice to stay in 150$ limit, but can be exceeded if really worth it.
Will be very happy to receive advices :)
Thanks!

P.S. Oh, and which pots I should better use for my setup - 10 or 15 litres (3-5 gallons)?

Get a 3x3x6 minimum. Your height is where your going to have problems.

After your pot size and hanging light... And the 2 ft distance you need from your canopy to your light .. Not much room for plants to grow . Honestly 7 ft tall is the minimum i would fuck with

150 dollar limit on light ... Buy hps light if your broke.

Your light is one of the most important parts of your setup . If you really want to go led... Build your own or save up 700 to a 1000 bucks

700-1000$ LEDs for growing two small plants? I believe there's cheaper way.
Was looking at HLG 135W QB V2 LED Kit that seems to be fine for this size and it's a bit less than 200$. It won't work?
Regarding pot size - I'm a complete newbie and know almost nothing, so no need to stick to sizes I've mentioned. Maybe in this setup I should use 5 litres growbags, I don't know. That's why I'm asking for advices :)
I'd like to stick to 2.5'x2.5' max as there's a good place I can fit it in my house.

Thats your minimum watts needed for a 2.5x2.5 tent to get anything worth growing..

But if you want a little hobby to watch a plant grow ... You might get a weeks works of weed for the 3+months work you put into the project.

:/ meh

I was saying little keeping height in the mind (not taller than 1 meter). And I want to get some experience before trying exersicing my plants, so no LST and wide-spread bushes.
I don't smoke too much, like 10-15g per month. So I believe even 2 small plants grown constantly should provide me, right?
Maybe I should go with 2'x2' tent which'll hold my 2 plants.
Anyway, thanks for advices, will continue searching for my best option.

I'm not sure that I really have everything figured out, but after finding successful reports on growing in a 2'x2'x4' tent with HLG 135W Quantum Board Kit V2 here I think I'll give it a try. 2-3 gallons pots will be used, 2-3 plants.

I don't think this has to be true... You will do much better growing shorter plants with a shallower canopy under LEDs, than growing out monsters. Even when I grow them quite big the LEDs never get much over 5' off the ground.
