T5 LED bulbs

Ok so I have asked about these a little before but don't know if I ever got to talk to anyone who has used them. Apparently 35-45 watts per square foot of LED's is what is optimal in most cases. I have a 2' x2' high output t5 fixture that takes 8 bulbs... And I'm also doing 2'x2' scrogs. Why would 8 led bloom bulbs not be just about perfect for this? They are 21 watt bulbs which puts me at a very evenly spread out 42 watts per square foot.

I'd probably just start over. Get rid of the fixture and use the money on DIY LED. I feel like buying these hold me over tubes is prolonging the inevitable. You'll just end up spending more money in the long run.

I already have a couple led led ls and was going to order more... But I was just thinking a 2x2 fixture would give the most even coverage in a 2x2 area...

I can vouch. The led bars are literally the same thing as strips. Just not as high a wattage/current.

There's very little on Amazon in 2ft, but here's what you'd search.

t5 led bulb 22 inch
/24 inch

T5 LED Tube replacement

Anyways, I'd assume EBay would be a much better option to look around.

I found some that have reds, blues, and clear diodes on the same t5 2ft light. They are a little pricy but I think I want to give them a try and see how they work out. I know I might regret it and wish I'd just got another quantum board but having a nice even light spread that is cool enough to place inches away from the canopy sounds perfect to me

What are eight T5 LED bulbs going to cost and what are their specs? Got any links to the tubes you're looking at?

No links but it won't be cheap. They are like $21 each. And they have blue red and white LED's.

You can actually find better t-8 with higher lumen per watt and a cheaper price, due to the larger area to cool them and there drivers. Plus t-8 fixtures are getting thrown out for new fixtures.
