I feel it shows dedication. I framed an built my rooms in a similar fashion.it allows you to design the space with growing in mind. This way you can have better environmental control. Being former military I like to be in control as much as possible. I can’t speak for big perm but he’s most likely the same. They beat attention to detail into us along with a strong determination to get shit done.

You get out what you put in my guy. I’ve grown out a milk jug and got buds. It’s a weed. Water it and it’ll grown but I’d much prefer to get a nice fat harvest myself and you’re not gonna get that with a half assed setup. spend a little time on the development and you’ll have a better end product. Unless you want dirt weed. To each their own though lol.
I just came up with an idea two days ago similar to this for the flower room. I decided to scrap the whole hydro plan for that room. This one will be simpler, but I haven't seen anything like it before, so I hope it works because I can't test it ("F it, We'll do it live!!!). It's not a new invention or anything. I'm waiting to post it until I'm done with it.

Nice to see some actual setups that are worth reading about and looking at. One thing I’ve never done is clones. I’ve grown from them but never made my own. That’ll be something I’ll try and accomplish this go round but I’ve always heard NOT to clone from femmed seeds?
Yeah, you're getting bad advice. Clone the crap out of those. Make your own fem seeds with colloidal silver. I'm going to do that with one of each of my autos before I run out of them, since it's not impossible to clone an auto, but it might as well be.
Very interesting! I’ve heard that for forever but honestly I’ve always grown unknown bag seeds. The guy giving me my gear has 10 femmed 2 strains. I wanna say one is a blue dream strain and the other an Afghan but not 100% what the names are yet. I’ll know tomorrow though and start my journal. I’ll keep 1 of each for mother’s and start researching cloning. Thanks for that dude. I was about to grow and cut them bitches lol.
Grow them all out, keep a clone of each alive until you smoke each of them. Pick your favorite of the two strains. Those will be your mother plant for those strains. Then grow the rest out and smoke them. You'll now be taking clones of the one you picked from the two best mothers.
It's not really a clone, more like an extension of that plant. You can keep extending it, or take clippings from it 'clone'. For as long as you want on pretty much anything you want.

When your plant goes into flower, take a clipping of it. That's your clone. Grow that up and do the same thing. Now you don't have to keep a mother, plus you are now 2 weeks ahead of a seed and you don't have to wait 6 weeks to pre-flower.Hmm interesting.
