Big Perm's Grow Box

Hi guys,
I've been learning from this site for a while, and now that it's legal for me, I figured I'd share a few pics of my setup. It still isn't done, and probably never will be completely done, but it's slowly getting there. It's 6x7x4H.
Oh, and looking at it now there is a lot of wasted space. The plan is to make 2 rooms and a mother room, but I want to build my COB's first.
My electric has a dedicated 20amp ground fault breaker. (not this pic, out of the breaker box...)

I built this fan box from one2threeBUDS4's DIY on this forum. Works like a champ.
It can be found here: https://rollitup.org/t/quiet-the-neighbors-can-hear-you-sound-control-thread.122532/
If I remember right I have a 6" 440 in there.

I've always used Fox Farm for everything. Probably because when I started a long time ago I used to live right next to them in Northern Ca.

My modified evaporative humidifier. Basically, it was free so I had nothing to lose. I needed it to be able to turn on and off from my switch, not its. I found out the fans were A/C, so I gutted everything and was good to go.

As far as my light goes, it is explained here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/so-i-made-this-light.966575/

My plumbing has a ball valve outside that is always off unless I need it on, and that is my old warranty replaced SP3 that I use in there.
20180618_005417.jpg

I run security cameras so I don't have to get in there for minor stuff. My goal before July 4th is to go fully automated with watering and humidifier refills remote controlled. More on that later.

The cameras make it super easy to check stuff. Here I can see that my humidifier needs to be refilled.

The humidifier is for a 4,000sqft house, it holds about 5 gallons and I've been having to fill it once a day.

The Dehumidifier will suck 9 gallons out a day

I think that pretty much covers everything for now. I should mention that I flip houses, so most of this stuff was scrap for me, even the cameras.
Future plans include going remote water control. (I have to have that done before the 4th, so I'll post it on here.)
A Veg, Flower, and Mother/Clone room
Going to have to scrog in here, and or supercrop.

Hi guys,
I added a few things, and am closer to remote water.
I put up some mylar. I wasn't going to, then got bored and did.
20180629_042939.jpg
20180629_043057.jpg 20180629_042956.jpg

I have 4 of these wifi outlets. I've been testing them out around the house. They are awesome. I put one on the main, and one on the lights so I can either kill the whole box, or just the lights from anywhere using an app.

But, my plan with those is to control a solenoid like this one.
20180618_022314 1.jpg
That's the one that's on my house furnace humidifier, as an example.
Using the cameras, and the wifi outlets to control the solenoids, I'll be able to fill my humidifier, or give the plants water from anywhere.
I'll probably end up roughing something in to work for now, and after I get back clean it up and take pics of it.

Hmmm. I might just have a tub of water and run an aquarium pump off the wifi outlets. Less to go wrong...

Anyway, you get the idea.

Edit: I guess when I started this I had already done the mylar, I thought I put up the flat white pics.

-At least these pics are fresh, so you can see some plant growth I guess.

I've slowly been improving here and there. I got it split into two rooms, finally. Temp and RH hold rock steady to pretty much wherever I set it. The veg side is 81f and 55%rh, the flower side is 79f and 45%rh, with lights out being 74f and 45%rh.
I plan on running 4-6 plants for my style in the flower room to have a full canopy. I ended up with only 2 from this bagseed run, the others were males.
I forgot how messy dirt is. I'm going back to hydro in the future...I kind of built this box with hydro in mind.

The rooms are air and light tight from each other.
20180719_012849.jpg
20180719_012727.jpg (The plants are 14 days into flower, just an fyi.)
20180719_012702.jpg 20180719_012649.jpg

On the left side is the veg, and everything else for now room. I've got some seedlings going, and some clones. The wires hanging in the middle of the light are temp and humidity probes. I can also still see everything in both rooms with the cameras.
20180719_012618.jpg
20180718_221228.jpg

I need to paint and put up mylar. I'll probably just put up mylar, though.

I've decided to go hydro with a 1000w vented dimmable hps after this run.
Because of the hydro, I'm going to put this down on the floor and a few inches up the walls of both rooms.
20180725_025336.jpg
I've used this stuff a lot on houses and campers. It's basically liquid white rubber, kind of like line-x or rhino lining. A bonus is it's highly reflective.

A sneak peak at a couple of upcoming plans. One is how I'm going to aero on the floor. The other is how I'm going to cool the rez tanks. Both are making me have to do math. Frank man, fasten your seat belt, this shit's about to get crazy.
I already know I could buy a chiller...but they won't read this far.

have you considered using a raspberry pi as a controller? I'm actually looking in to that on my growbox project

If you haven't gone to college for engineering you should consider it . I don't care how old you are.

I hadn't. I know what they can do, but it's not my style. My brother would be all over that, so I'll say something to him, thanks.
