That water is key. I haul my water. Dry cabin. 45 miles to Fairbanks . $.02 @ gallon if you pump into your own container. A hassle even in summer. But at -30 F you start wishing you had it at home. Add the icy highway getting there. Get home and have water jugs already freezing in the back of the truck.

Bud, you have it exactly right . Snowmachine outside. Chained up Jeep snowplow at the landlord's.

I killed a bear 25' from my front door this summer. Still dealing with the wildlife people on that.

But no bugs on my pot either.
