Auto deficiencies

Hey everyone, I have two Bloody Skunk Autos growing from Sweet Seeds. The grow is going awesome! But I do have a couple small deficiencies that recently started I’d say the past 7-10 days. Not worried about it really at all, but I figured it’s better to be safe than sorry and know what’s going on with these two girls!

They both are on day 49. And 3 weeks into flower. I am using @GreenleafNutrients MegaCrop. This is my first time using MC and these two love it! As do I. But I believe they started a phosphorus deficiency so I added some Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom Soil Formula for a PK boost the past two feedings (6 days). One is growing in a 2 gallon pot in coco & perlite. The other is in a 3 gallon pot growing in Happy Frog Soil & perlite. The one in soil grew faster than the one in coco, but the coco is catching up quick! Soils 32” tall & coco is 28” tall. And to believe these both have been under a single 300w viparspectra lol. Luckily that will change next week!

Here are the pictures, what do y’all think?

SORRY FOR THE BLURPLE!!!

For Pix try using a high powered flashlight to over come the burple. I got one for Xmas and it does a good job helping with Trich's and leaf colors. I use a burple too and find they do well except for pictures.

I hope you get some 'expert' help as these small deficiencies rapidly get worse. I'm just a noobie so I'll not tell you what's wrong. My own grow had some weird problems and it was getting worse until I got some advice.

I just read the analysis of Mega Crop. No way should you be having a phosphorus deficiency if you're using as directed. IMO.
I agree with what you’re saying but it has started happening. I’ve been 100% using it as directed, just added a little Pbp bloom as a boost. Not much though, it’s really only on the very first leaves at the bottom... that’s it. I was more wondering what is causing the deformed leaves and the “white” color where the tissue looks weak I guess so to say. It’s causing small holes as well.

How much Mega Crop are you using? You should be up to 5 grams per gallon about now.
Precisely, actually I think last feeding was a little above 5 grams. I’m using the right amounts, and I feed them nutes every watering. Not once have they ever got plain pH water after I started the first feeding. It seems like they need all the nutrients and I water/feed every 2 days as the pots dry up quick! So I know they’re thirsty.

I'm not diagnosing lockout but I'm suggesting the possibility considering your feedings and the fact it's auto and the other symptoms . Suggest plain water.

I think you’re right, over feeding is probably the problem. It makes sense in a way cause I just started adding pbp bloom for a pk boost and it seems like that’s when it started happening, not sure if that’s the reason but I’m going to be more careful on my feedings. I was doing the directed 5 grams/gal which was around the 765 ppm or whatever it was exactly. But then I added the botanicare pbp bloom, I think 4-5mL and it raised the ppm all the way to 1200. So I lightly fed them, but I was told to just add it on top of my regular mc feeding. How often should I plain Ph water them? Feed, feed, water?

I have one plant growing in coco and one in soil.

I just bought Bud Explosion as a little boost as well, so I’m not going to use the pbp bloom anymore.

hey
first off u have red vein ( lacking in N P or K) ......looks like preflower just start of flower .......add in some more N and K
second thing looks like a little cal def is starting
third thing is u are not over feeding it ........if u were there would be Nutr burn (not seeing it ) .....auto flowers are water feed based plants u can up their food to lvls ppl call crazy (dwc ppm 4000)

your next round take out the happy frog (it is good for starters /transplanting photos) for autos look at roots organic greenfeild (has a higher N and better water retention)

Well I did think the red veins were a problem, but the strains I'm growing are from "The Red Family" from Sweet Seeds. They are a very purple based plant, all around. All the strains from the red family by sweet seeds are very red/purple plants. I am using MC which I should definitely not be having a N deficiency I would assume. I did just order a PK booster to go with MC so I'll start adding that in this weed with the feedings.

The only thing I think I'm lacking on is P since I have a very slight deficiency, but like I said I just ordered that PK booster from GLN.

Also these are the only autos I'm growing, after these two I'm going back to photos. Not a big fan of autos so far, although I do got some more Girl Scout Cookie Autos from Fastbuds to use, and a pack of Devil Cream auto from Sweet Seeds, which is another strain from the red family.

And you think it's a calcium def? That's the last thing I would of guessed. Don't have any brown rusty dots all over the leaves?

certin auto strains are strait up cal hogs ......something about the rapided growth i think causes it
because of that i always say to add in Calmg+ when doing autos ( autos are all i grow for the last 7 years) some strains i have to mix in 3 times the normal amount of cal to the soil for them the trouble normally shows up about the first 10 days in flowering

here is the best advice i can give u
the fox farms trio pack (open seame beastie bloom cha ching ) ....yes they are chemical but the power they supply plant the benfits are like night and day.......it would act as your booster for PK during flowering and it has some micro nutr in it that do increase the oil weight

if u use those in the flowering stage u will like the results and well u get more out of it for the money u spend (powder last forever if u keep the RH low

Agreed. My last Auto was Fastberry from Fastbuds. And I got a very bad calcium deficiency. Every single leaf was covered with tiny brown “rusty” looking spots. I fed it a lot of calmag from there on out but the deficiency was already there and made the plant look terrible. Although the harvest was fine! Lol.
And there is already plenty of calmag in the MegaCrop nutrients I am using. It’s an all in one fertilizer and they swear you don’t need anything else to go with it! Although I do have a spare quart of botanicare calmag in my closet if needed. Also got a bottle of their Pure Blend Pro grow, and their PBP bloom soil formula I used the past few feedings for a little PK boost. I just ordered Bud Explosion for a PK booster to go with the MegaCrop. Will have it here in a few days!
