That's a female pre-flower on that male preflower pic.

And that one labeled male flower looks like it's bean baked by the lights a bit. Can't really see if there's any male flowers in it.

I wouldn't be tossing anything just yet.

Hey man, thanks a lot, I'm kinda panicking but realizing its all a learning experience for my next grows, should my known seeds pop. Looking at certain parts of these plants, I feel great about them, others make me wanna take up golf. I've honestly never loved something so much that stressed me out so much. My girl reminded me I would of dumped her twice had she caused me so much headache. lol

New res tonight.
PH 6
PPM 900
Temp 68

I think I have all my perimeters going my way except humidity. Any suggestions? I switched AC to dry mode but it just dropped temp more. I'm very much liking these leds so much easier to cool room and plants are not cooking anymore. I don't like the way these particular ones throw light but I'm kinda sold on the heat aspect alone.

If your outside humidity is high then there's not much you can do but use a dehumidifier or the AC to get it down but if you have a lot of air flow thru the space then that won't work either. I have the opposite problem with really low RH most of the year. Thunderstorms today and the RH in the mancave here is just 40%.

If I can scrounge up the coin I'm going to get a portable AC unit and run a sealed room. Then I can keep the environment right where I want it. Have a CO2 controller and solenoid but need to get a tank and that's around $250 up front. $100/yr for the tank rental.

Just need a winning lotto ticket. :D

Now what to do about smell??? Holy cow its bad I have a big carbon fan in the room but friendly neighbors even commented. Maybe to much air movement.

My room is fairly sealed. I vent my AC and chiller out a window and depending how much heat the dehumidifier makes I'm gonna stick with that. If its bad I'm gonna build a duct box for all 3

Maybe you need a better carbon filter. I bought my first one almost a year ago and it's still sitting in the box. Damn good one tho and bigger than what most people would buy. Should last for a few years once I get around to hooking it up.

Based on this pic is there anything I can do to help my garden?

Added dehumidifier tonight and will let it go 24/7 if bucket doesn't over flow. damn near 2 gallons in first 4 hours.

Might not be a bad idea to flop some tops over. You just roll the stem firmly between your fingers until it gets soft for an inch or more so the top can tip over and hang down. The stem may split on the sides but the cola will still grow fine. It's like topping so more energy goes to the side branches too. I do that a lot as I tend to veg a bit too long.

So the dehumidifier adds to much heat while the light are off.

Do I need to run it 24/7?

I'm gonna run 12 while lights and AC on, and 4 hours in middle of light off?

Thoughts???

Thank you!

RH rises as the temp drops after the lights go out. Still the same amount of moisture in the air but at a lower temp it reads as higher RH as it's 'Relative Humidity'. That means it's relative to the air temp.

Does it not have some control on it to shut off once the RH gets lower? Could always rig it to a bathroom exhaust fan controller and let that turn your dehuey on and off. I have my exhaust fan plugged into a Temp/RH controller that uses one and a heat/cool thermostat wired on the cool side to only have my exhaust fan come on when it gets too warm or too moist. The unit on the left is a ceiling fan controller I wired into a wall box with cords to run the fan half speed. I made a similar unit with a baseboard heater thermostat to run my heater when the lights go out.

Just buy one of those bathroom fan RH units and wire it up like that and plug your dehuey into it. Then it will only come on when needed.

I'll look into that for now I'll keep lots of air movement.

I set up a few buckets with some clones. Bored mostly like I don't have enough to deal with, I took to many and have way to many plants to deal with.

I set up a 10ft light rail with the Gavita, if I can get it properly rigged up to travel correctly I may very well be on to something for now its just gonna stay put for now. Ultimately I'm gonna make the switch to leds but need to get a couple decent grows done first.

I think the buds are pretty nothing like others but I'm learning.

New pics for the day last for at least a week I hope I have everything set up well. Few questions based on pics. Thoughts?
Will I get colas? or did the nut burn mess up my entire grow? The buds though small looking have lots of trichomes and smell crazy good/ I'm 6 weeks into flower today. Plants appear pretty healthy overall roots still white and doing well just seems like I should be getting more than I am. ???

Set up some clones and Gavita on light rail, its not what I want but I'm outta money for a bit.

Curious to see how the older plants are gonna react on the side the Gavita is going back and forth..

Thoughts? Advise?

Thanks

The buds do look rather small for 6 weeks in. Is it the start of the 6th week or the end?

A lot of strains really plump up the last couple weeks and those look like they have a ways to go so may take a few weeks to finish yet.

They don't look like they suffered much nute burn and I've got decent crops off of ones that showed lots of burn damage.

Hope your feeling better.

Nope just in this evening. Plants look same buds have really frosted up seem way denser and drank about 30 gallons of water in last week glad I came home when I did or res would be dry within another day or 2. No real huge colas like I was hoping for but I see all the weed porn and get jealous. lol I'm thinking couple more weeks on these, decide on some seeds and try to not make all the same mistakes...

Crops should get better with practice and those could fatten up some yet so I wouldn't worry about it unless you're growing for a cartel then you're f'ed. ;)

Maybe it's just the strain or even a bad phenotype of a good strain.

Any ideas on what you want to grow next? I'm having trouble deciding but should have some seeds sprouting pretty soon.

I'll go sleep on it.
