Switching to LED from HPS

God if i have to post more pics of plants this year for demanding newbies...

Your not nice members, your not knowledgeable members and some of you struggle so bad to grow healthy plants i would not think you have gained any experience except how to stress plants and make them turn yellow, purple and crispy. I have worked many hard years to avoid my grow looking like yours and as such am obviously a better grower and poster of info.

Nothing wrong with giving advice or commenting without adding sugar. A lot of old farmers don't hold back and don't apologize. No problem with that.

Less is more. It's very clear you can't handle multiple plant grows. Stick with one or two and do it right. That looks simply dreadful. What a waste.

I remember Taco now and never minded him even though he can occasionally be hard on Newbies.
I like King and enjoy his posts.
I like games. If they go around insulting new growers I figured it would be fun to play because I've seen his pictures and would have been impressed if he could compete with my mid grades.
I would have had fun just showing my best mutations and see how he stacked up.
Newbies who can't fight back would have had to listen to that and it probably would not have ended, especially from Taco. In fact sometimes that brings out other mean insecure growers. I never like that or any form of bullying. I figure it's not bullying if me and King are on the same level. I guess it is becoming a bully situation now so I'll behave.
Trash talking, fighting, it's all fun to read.
What I didn't like was his attempt to demoralize a grower who did not say one word to him that was negative yet he called us not nice. Maybe I was not nice but he cannot find anything above his post where he said you were not nice that was not nice.
I may trash talk and be a pain in the ass but you will not find posts from me that demoralize a fellow grower especially a beginner or intermediate grower. I always encourage them.

800W of quantum pucks with 350W of blurple and I still dont get more than a 7 degree increase from ambient NO AC. I dont even need to run an exhaust... please argue more @Kingrow1 I want to argue with you I'm feeling froggy.

I think taco is a newb. I belive his first grow was only last year.

I don't mind criticism, I don't like it from people who don't know what they are looking at. Especially from a post that was about room, not directed at them and not "gee whizzer, look at my plants".
Funny that I posted the exact same pic on my thread and no one said a word.

Wow, there is a lot of mean stuff going on in this forum. I know I am new but I thought this was supposed to be a place to learn. If you cant eat the meat and spit out the bones then maybe a classroom would be more sorted to ones liking. I would like to become educated not indoctrinated. I will post all the science (with refrences if available) about LED's that I have accumulated but I am waiting till the grow is finished to present my final results. Mostly because I don't want to show the light until then. But the timelapse video will show it throughout the whole grow. I am half way done and about to flower in a couple weeks. The grow is being recorded with a timelapse camera and a wattage meter will be showing the actual usage. It should be fun and informative.

Also I wanted to throw my pics in the mix for fun. Please be easy on the criticism. Pics shown are with LED grow lights on and the other pics are with the shop LED's on for a better photograph of the plant.

Why do you care what this forumn thinks about your light? Why the need to wait to bring all these results to the table? I don't think anyone put you to task about it and quite frankly it doesn't really matter to anyone. I have already been given a dose of shit for supporting my black dog light and I couldn't give a fuck what some one else thinks. But I have no problem saying what I bought or use because it doesn't matter to anyone but me. All I'm saying is don't be afraid to say what your using and then also don't be afraid to say you were right or wrong either...

I wont say the name because I am not trying to get anyone to buy this brand of light. I am talking about the technology and that its not over priced and so on. Has nothing to do with the brand. I can buy CREE or any other brand of LED chips and build the exact same light. Its the technology so sorry if it bothers you I don't want to say the name brand. SO what?

Bro, every single noobie ever says exactly what your saying. I'm not trying to be rude, but please let me know what you think your first or second grow have to show anyone. If you really want to get some data it will take around 10 grows, using several differant kinds of lights, and that already been done by a lot of us. I think I've finished somewhere around 80 cycles... lots of people here have done way more than that. Guess what? The data is in. We all know what LEDs are trash, what ones work alright.

With people who have experiance and know how to use proper grow equipment hps is by far CHEAPER to get a grow going, and get a better yield and quality. There's plenty of people doing really well with the Samsung LEDs, but they dont seem to be there just yet, and by that I mostly mean the prebuilt fixture market needs expanding and to come down in price a little before it's a real contender for the HPS crown.
