Tea ingredients

So I've been researching tea. At first I found people are saying compost tea has no affect on plants. Then I stumbled across a thread of people adding things like azomite, oats, molasses, humic acid, fish emulsion, etc. Does anybody have any experience with this? Can anybody tell me good ratios to use for making tea if they are actually useful?

And dive in please I want to hear it lol
According to dr Elaine ingham?
A bacterial tea will be slightly fungal
And vice versa. You cant really only get 100%

So you are looking for a mostly microbial.

Mine looks like this

Measurements are approximate and feel free to go more or less.

3 to 5 gal water. Chlorine free

Maybe 2ish tablespoons molasses.
Remember I brew a short cycle so thats more than enough

Couple cups of some kind of compost,
Earthworm castings work very well.

Table spoon to 1/4 cup cold pressed fish hydroslate?

Tablespoon to 1/4 cup liquid kelp.

I bubble with clean 76f water.
(aquariumheater)
I bubble for 24 hours for my own reasons but others go up to about 36 with this same recipe.

Strain it after its made n spray it on the entire plant.

Pour leftovers in soil.

You can dilute it or not.
I do not

The question becomes how long does it take for the fish hydroslate and kelp take to break down to ‘usuable’ minerals... thanks for your recipe

That I left to the experts, I pretty much stole my recipe from the good Dr.

Edit, went to her site and her recipe that is posted is different.

So what are you all's thoughts on a bubbling system? Do you recommend something that used a large pump to re circulate the water (high end compost tea machines and the replicas) or is an air stone in the bottom of a five gallon bucket ok? (sorry OP to steal the tread)

I have always just bubbled but recently bought small pumps to circulate it.

My fear with running it through a pump in the past was that the pump would damage fungi. But again that was just me assuming they would glob together
Naturally and the pump would mess it all up.

Im interested in this question as well
