Florablend and floralicious, both made by general hydroponics. Is it OK for my hydro or just soil?

I highly recommend the two-part Maxi Series from GH. Works awesome with dwc, and it's really simple to use. Check out their feedchart.

Using Flora trio. What about floralicious plus and Flora blend? Can I use it in Dwc?

They all do basically them same thing. It depends on your system and preference. I've used the trio in my dwc, then switched to the Maxi, which is a powder. I like the powder over liquid because it's not as messy. Never used Floralicious, but here's the thing, plants use a set of nutrients, and there isn't going to be one brand having "better nitrogen" for example. So dont waste any time fretting over which one to get, because you won't even know the difference until you've grown a ton of times and can do side by side comparisons. Also, don't get bloom boosters, or any of that, because you're wasting your money. Asking which one is best is going to get a ton of responses, with everyone claiming that their nutes are the best. They're all the same, dude.

Just pick one and go, you've got more important things to be learning about :)

Basically what your telling me is to stick to ro water, calimagic, micro grow and bloom. And hydroguard I know is OK and good to use. I shouldn't use anything other than the basics?

i'm like JSB, just maxibloom for me. i have been trying a seaweed/humic/fulvic powder mix that seems to work fine.

most bloom boosters are just a high PK mix. maxibloom has plenty of P and K.

Like liquid koolbloom? I'm using that right now. That's the only thing I add other than hydroguard I put in last. Brings my ppm up to 800 plus so I add more ro water to drop it to the 700 range
I've never used Hygroguard. This last grow I kept my soup between 68 and 70, and made sure not to burn my girls past the very tips. I also sterelized the hell out of everything. I only flushed twice during the grow, and those weren't even needed.

I remember having to flush once or twice when using the Trio, because the soup smelled a couple times. I never had that problem with the Maxi. There are no odors with the Maxi, which is a bonus.

My seedlings started off with root rot aka pythium from warm water temps. I learned quick. Battled that shit and won. That's why I use hydroguard. As a preventitive measure I use hydroguard

I haven't flushed at all. In 4th week flowering now starting today. Will only flush at harvest. I use ro water and no need to flush til harvest time 3 to 5 days before I chop them they get a flush.

1.4 ec. 700 ppm on all buckets. 70 to 80 degree room temp 68 to 69 degree water temps, lights off is cooler on water and air temps. Humidity between 40 and 60 percent. Using dehumidifier due to like 80 percent humidity before I used one.

Seeing as how GH has denied making nutes for pot growers ever since they've been in business I won't use anything made by them. Why support a company that has opposed us forever?

AN 3-part with Big Bud for the last 17 years. Always works in DWC or soil/soilless. No pH worries only made it better for me. RO or distilled water all the way!

I heard the same thing but gh is tried and true for many many years it's worked for people. I don't like how Monsanto got involved though with general hydroponics. Advanced nutrients is owned by a pedophile and I have kids so I refuse to support a chomo. Id switch to canna before AN

I didn't catch that your growing big bud til now. I have the strain also I ordered feminised from single seed centre. Well I think and hope at least. I started 6 seeds and only 4 survived. I forgot to label them, haha. Attached is a pic of the 6 strains I started but only 4 survived. Dumb stoner move. I got 5 other strains which I have no clue what they all are, one is banana kush, not sure the other 4. and different plants from a good buddy who grows hydro and had some she could spare. The plants I received were a gift and we're vegged bigger than mine when I flipped to budding them all at once 4 weeks and 2 days ago

One guy that works for Big Mike got accused of kiddie diddling. So tar the whole company with the same brush? That's just pure ignorance to use that as a reason to not buy a product.

GH is just what their name says. General nutes for any plants. Any hydro nutes will do the same but AN at least sources their salts from other than contaminated sources and has done all their research growing pot plants rather than fruits and veg. My first hydro nutes in '82 were bags of different salts I bought along with a 1000W MH light from Western Water Farms in downtown Vancouver. A recipe sheet with tomatoes circled was my first foray into hydro nutes and what a PITA that was. I like easy and AN is that. Never check pH just ppm for hydro and just mls/L for soilless.

Not interested in flogging a dead horse about which nutes are better but companies that have kicked us pot growers every chance they get won't get any of my money.

Now that Scott's owns GH they'll just put their Miracle-Gro crap in the GH bottles. :)
