That's right fellow rollituppers, I'm back. And this time, were going big. After much needed time off, both from work and from the garden, it's that time again to start another crop, but to fill an 11ftX9ft room to its entirety. I fell off with my last few threads when my room was divided into two sections. One for flower, one for veg. This time around, I'm doing my full plant count all at once. 6-9 week veg, all strains are going to be 8-9 week flowers. My room isn't completely renovated yet, but should only be a few days before it is. And when that time comes, I'll add pics of the setup. I'm going to go back to using 7-8 gal homemade tote pots. The soil is mostly Roots Organics Original but it is mixed with Fox Farms Ocean Forest roughly 70/30, with about 30% added perlite to the final volume. This mixture had the best root development, water retention, and aeration ratio I've experienced using. The pots also had a very comparable yield to that of the 10 gal fabric pots using ~3 less gallons of soil. I had good success with the fabric pots, they just dried out way to fast for my liking. I also installed a new 5000btu air conditioner into the grow room since the old one was beyond inefficient, old, decrepit, and it didn't have a built in temp controller, whereas the new one does. Re-hung all the cob bars in a way that I feel will be the best spread over the 9X11 area. I currently have 20 cobs. The light setup is as follows;

1) HLG-320H-C1400A on 110v input, pushing 4 CLU048-1818's in 4000k 80cri

1) HVGC-320H-C1400A on 220v input, pushing 4 CLU048-1818's, 2 in 4000k 80cri, 2 in 3000k 70cri

1) HLG-320H-C1400A on 220v input, pushing the same as above

1) HVGC-320H-C1050A on 220v input, pushing 8 CLU048-1212's, 4 in 2700k 90cri, 4 in 3000k 90cri.

16 of the cobs are mounted on the Mechatronix ICELED ULTRA using the IDEAL 50-2204CT solderless chip holders. The fans run off a 12vdc power supply that used to be in an alarm system to power motion detectors. It has a 8amp max output over 4 separate channels. It powers 16 fans using 4a bridged over 3 channels.
There are 4 cobs to a 4 ft section of aluminum rectangle tube with 3.5 inch holes drilled on top and 3 inch holes on bottom. The tube acts as a housing for all the wires and a "rail" for the cobs to be hung easily without having to hang each one individually.
The other 4 cobs are mounted to the ø111mm, H 80mm, Base 10mm pin fin black anodized aluminum heatsinks with a 120mm computer fan mounted atop each one. This fixture; however, is not using the aluminum channel. It uses aluminium angle as it's frame. So it's not as clean looking yet. But will be once I get the gumph together to drill out another tube and order 4 more ICELED heatsinks.

As always I'm going with Bonza Seedbank for my strains. This crop is going to be

Dutch Passion Seeds - Twilight
Barney's Farm - Tangerine Dream
Future Island
GG#4
The Cure
Blooz Brudda

I'm going to be using Fox Farms nutrient line with a few extras at QRTR strength up to HALF, unless otherwise needed.

I feel like I talked on everything, now I just have to finish up the renovations and post a pic for you guys to actually be able to see what I'm typing about. I may even start a YouTube channel for this grow. That'll be in a couple weeks if I do. How many rollituppers would watch this grow versus read about it? Let me know and I may start posting videos instead of pics.

Things are starting to really come together. Other than my water heater going out, everything's going smoothly. Have an on demand, tankless heater on the way, and flooring will be installed into the room sometime this weekend. Aside from that, I just have to finish painting the walls with mold/mildew inhibiting paint and call it good. There is NO mold or mildew in the room, it's just precautionary as the room hasn't been painted in over 5 years. With all 4 light rails on, this room should produce upwards of 3-4 pounds between 12-16 plants. But I am staying hopefully optimistic for around 7 pounds under 1200 TRUE watts of LED. We shall see. Pics still to come after floor is laid and painted.

7 pounds under 1,200 watts? That's 2.6 grams per watt, unless I did some bad math. That's a tall order, man...

Man, this room is kicking my ass. Got the hot water heater wired up on its own dedicated 50amp breaker and almost all plumbed up. I say almost cuz I had used some pex on a cpvc elbow, let's just say the result was exciting. The elbow blew out the pex so fast, luckily I put a shut off sharkbite right after the copper line in. So I just have to hit the Depot up in the am so I can finish that. Then it's onto the floor, which I only need to lay 1 more piece. Then paint everything n lay the plastic. After that it's wrapping the room with panda film. Then I'll have pics guys. This shits really kicking my ass especially trying to work 48 hours a week. But first pic should be Sunday if I had to put a date on it. Hang in there fellas, I promise, it'll be well worth the wait. bongsmilie:blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Well, apparently Bonza has some issues going on with their payment servers. So I'm in limbo waiting for my order to be completed. But I do have 3 auto flower seeds I'm gna start today. Jus to get the ball rolling. Pics tonight after panda film is hung.

Its been long enough, im still waiting for bonza to get their heads out their arses. And to also hang the panda film. But i did manage to sprout the 3 autos i had leftover. All 3 are from Dr. Krippling. Farthest back is the Choc-Matic, middle is the Grand Heft Auto, far right is the Jumping Black Dash. All the other 9 pots are only holding soil. Ive been working on this semi-auto watering system for quite some time now but i think i have it worked out. I have a 32 gallon resevoir (new trash can) for my R.O. water, inside of which is a 1/6 hp submersible utility pump plumbed up to a "T" splitter to provide each side of the room a butterfly valve to regulate the pressure and volume into each pot equally. The pump is plugged into a surge protector so all i have to do is flick the switch to water the plants. I also have a digital timer with 1 minute intervals i can use incase i want to go away for a weekend. Granted when i water one side, its typically only been for about 40 seconds and i get PLENTY of runoff with the valve about halfway open. I may need to tinker with the fabric-pot side some more. But the tote-pot side is pretty good n set. Now i just need seeds or clones to start an actual crop. But heres the progress. Each row of 3 sits under ~300 actual watts of cobs at full power. Tote-pot side is at the lowest power setting and is only on for pictures. Fabric-pot side is currently at about 70% power with only the 3 autos under it. I may need to think about using another seedbank for my seeds.

Well apparently Bonza, Attitude, and SSC are all incapable of processing card payments at this time. So im literally at a stand still with the strains i want to order. Ive been thinking about buying some crypto currency and then just using it to place the order i need. Anybody try this method with Attitude Seeds yet? Ive never ordered from them before, but ive heard they get intercepted quite frequently..

Crypto is the way to go. Last I knew they were throwing in freebies for crypto orders as well.

Is it too much to ask for..? 14 strains i want + 6 freebie strains, 20 strains to last me a year of growing. Challenge accepted.
You might want to order fewer strains and instead increase the quantity of seeds per strain. Ordering just one of each leaves you with no fallback for grows gone south, and no phenotypical variance from which to choose the best keeper.
