Multi strain Mega Crop grow

I am going to give Mega Crop a whirl I will try to keep posts in here updated on the process.

First I have to start by saying I am starting this out with some seeds I have had around for years now, anywhere from 2 - 10 years. That said I soaked some (11 seeds) for a day then through them in Rapid Rooter cubes about a week ago. Yesterday I built a new veger unit (dealing with some spider mite issues I want to make sure are completely gone before these go in there). 5 seeds popped a couple of days ago and had between 4 - 8 roots sticking out of of the cubes so I put them in the new veger under T5's using Mega Crop at 1/5th strength. Once these catch up I will add some of my clones to this run and get the mega crop to proper strength.

The seeds that popped so far (not giving up hope on the others yet) were Cheese #1, Bubble Gum, Exodus Haze, Critical +2.0 and Chemdawg #4.

Still learning about these dry nutrients in hydro, under fed again. Had to run away for 5 days unexpectedly and while I did change and up the nutrient strength I did it using measuring spoons instead of weighing it.

Changed out the nutrients again and gave them 5 grams per gallon and they seem to like it. Naturally this is a multi strain grow so some aren't liking it as much as others. This is a test run so next time I will try to dial in for a particular plant.

Root are looking good too:

Not familiar with these strains but I topped the ones over 4 nodes to see how they responded. Unfortunately I raised the light and the right hand side slipped through my fingers and smashed the plants on that side. (I hate when I cause the harm myself!) That being said they bounced back nicely, I will post a new pic tonight.

So far so good with the Mega Crop. I underfed them for over a week when they first started but since they have bounced back nicely, they were pretty much yellow until I upped it to 5 grams per gallon now they are lush and green.

Had to take the cheese out of the rail is I just don't think it could handle the 5 grams per gallon, I put it in my botainicare vegger that I run light, lets see if she bounces back. The rest are doing good now that they have some breathing room. Bubblegum and Chemdawg #4 are absolutely loving the mega crop.

Took the cheese out and moved it to my botainicare veger, new growth is looking good, old growth is still all claw. Then I moved the 2 on the right back a hole because the BubbleGum and the ChemDawg #4 are just growing like crazy, tied down some of the branches to give them some spread, they really seem to like the mega crop.

Took some more clones and looks like I will have to top them again waiting for the other 4 to catch up before moving them into flower.

Growing like a weed with the mega crop at 5 grams per gallon in this stage of veg, I have them under a 600 w MH and am seeing some copper on the veins I may need to start adding some supplemental calcium? No panic yet as it is only here and there, with the 25 gallon res I haven't changed the water in almost 2 weeks, I will be changing it one day this week. I need to do some topping on the chemdawg and the bubblegum as they are just growing like gang busters. I will be flipping this rail to 12/12 this weekend.
