Hi Brett and Michael!

Brett- I haven't tried concentrates before but I really really want to. I'm shopping around now to get a whole dab setup. If anyone has any suggestions on brands or what kind of tools to buy, please let me know.

Michael-March 16th blows. Travis and I are March 20th and trust me, we feel ya. Hang in there and keep us posted!

I just realized you applied the day before I got my Card. So today is day 77. Should be getting it soon. This Week?? Hope So!

Hi all,

Long time forum viewer. Thought I would subscribe and say hi and much appreciated for the info.

I submitted my application around the end on March.
So hopefully it won't be much longer.

I hate hurting, my life has been miserable since my DR took me off the meds. Hoping this new method will help with the pain and make my life "normal" again.

I was against doing marijuana, but after reading alot on here and other places. I decided to agree with my DR and go this route.

I have been in so much pain for the last 3 months Since my DR took me off the meds and told me to do medical marijuana, pretty much bed ridden because of my health conditions.
So I am hoping this works! The wait time is insanely nuts, and it don't help I am in so much pain in the meantime waiting.

How does everyone deal with the pain, until they get their card???

Any suggestions foor a noob is greatly appreciated!

Congrats on everyone who got their cards! I am still waiting...

alot of praying, if you know how to find those yard sale groups on facebook,
get on there and say you 're looking for some CBD oil
don't buy that stuff that isn't marked CBD tho.
there's alot of garbage being sold.

Just a side note on a dab setup... I'm trying out a basic Yocan Evolve (link to a bunch on ebay: https://tinyurl.com/y793nxfq). I really like it - it works well, no mess or lost product, easy to keep clean. The Evolve Plus has glowing reviews and I'll probably move on to that, but I figured very discreet and portable for $20 wouldn't be a bad first device.

I just spoke to them and they’re processing my application today. Should get my card within 14 days. I’m moving soon so the sooner the better.

I’ll have to finish a change of address form after I move and pay for a new card but hopefully I’m only 2 weeks away from treatment.

So excited/anxious/partially relieved. I’ll update again once I have it.

How long has the card printing wait time been for everyone? I’m hoping it’s often quicker than the 14 days they set as the standard...

I applied the end of March too. Have you tried emailing or calling IDPH. I sent an email, but got the standard reply. Think I'll try calling this week.

First time poster, but long time stalker of this site. I didn't want to post anything day-to-day or week-to-week, because there's not much useful info to provide during the dreaded wait. Seems like it compounds the stressful anticipation of the unknown card delivery date. Anyway here's my timeline. 84 days from my app submission date, or 82 days from credit card being charged.

3/13 - doctor submitted electronically to state
3/15 - received email confirming my credit card was charged by IDPH
5/3 - sent email requesting a status update
5/4 - I received the automated high application volume email reply, but was also asked to provide more personal info to verify
my identity which I did.
5/7 - DPH confirmed via email that my app was received, but they cannot provide status updates.
5/17 - I called and a lady advised me that my app was just approved and at the SOS phase (for approximately 2 days there) before
going to the printer. She actually told me that it should be at the printer by 5/28 which was Memorial Day.
6/05 - Informed delivery shows a letter from IDPH coming today

Based on what I read months earlier on this site, I chose to make my first status inquiry by email around the 45-50 day mark and call at the 9 week mark. I got someone on the first call attempt and she was very helpful.

Just called the IDPH. I went through Medical Cannibis Community Outreach (MCCO) in Addison. I completed my paperwork there on March 21. I just learned my application was not received by the IDPH until the second week in April!!!!!! I have heard many negative things regarding MCCO in Addison and now I believe them. If anyone here used MCCO for their card expect delays and problems.

While I know the wait times can be frustrating, please don't shoot the messengers such as the employee's fielding your calls. Ultimately, I'm sure they wish they had a better system and ample staffing in place to handle all these requests. Keep in mind that Cook County has the 2nd largest county population size in the US alone. I know it can be extremely infuriating that medical requirements aren't being met, there's been plenty of times in the past where my Dr. just happen to not see my refill request and I would have to wait and extra week for it. The best way to handle this all is to keep a positive outlook. If you're already self medicating and just looking for a legal route, just remember to play it safe and lay low until that point.

HEY HEY EVERYBODY!!!! JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW I GOT MY CARD TODAY!!! THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! I'm never going to get married or have kids and I waited for this day for over 25 years!!! Pure bliss seeing my card in the mail today and the dispensary vist was amazing!!! I felt like a kid on Christmas morning!! Thanks to all who helped me a long the way... I will stay and help others out...

2nd doctor vist 3-15... Sent snail mail 3-16

card arrived today 6/5/2018 one day off from what MedCardClock said!! So happy... Anyone need info or pics let me know

I'll ask this for anyone else who may be interested;
What date did your check get cashed/If you used a third party, what date does the receipt show?

Edit: Did they send you an email or any indication that the card was on it's way prior to you receiving it?

March 27th my app was submitted
just got off the phone with the PLUG they said they have not yet processed my app....
BOOO WHOO.
Anyway Dabbin it not the same a using a VAPE PEN guys sorry
Whne you take a Dab its like 10 Bong hits at once
however the feeling is a bit different I realy like it much bettter hope to talk to you crazy cats soon !

No email... and as of last statement mid month may nothing was out... So it all must of happened after that
