LED hps....

Yeah I have had them way up trying to give the girls a break as the temps are hitting 32 degrees and nothing I can do about it. I like it around 25 and I have got new strains which I don’t know how resilient they are and I hate nanners
That's definitely pretty high. You want it around 25-27 degrees centigrade/celsius. Yes, increase your intake.

We disagree and i fully support that hps gives of very little heat...

That said it was embarresing for most when i had to explain how to sex a plant so noobs wernt cutting down females, the time you all though whorlled phylotaxy was some genetic triploid but were dead wrong, just general info on genetics that most were on another planet about.

Now you all may disagree but i havent been wrong before when you all disagreed and so i believe you just havent looked at the facts and figures properly.

We will painfully have to relive this until someone proves me wrong or you get to the point where my simple science wins out as it has for a long time.

So in your opinion switching to led won’t drop my temperatures dramatically if at all?

I have to say I have listened to what you have said before and it worked out right for me regarding light distances so thumbs up for that kinggrow

The health of the plant dictates the distance, mainly you can go closer but if the plant aint healthy enough you will prosper futher away until you get better.

This fact is paramount to my conclusion on heat of a hps in a decent sized tent.

Our one-trick pony is back... :dunce:

But i have stated clear and concise facts which do not get stated in the led vs hps heat debate. All are easily seen with a little grow experience so i doubt that its that hard to believe.

Again the amount of heat transferred to the air is very small when its rushing through a tent at 300-500cfm, physics dictates this so there is no argument if you ever did this subject in school.

Now i suggest that the skill of the grower pays much more into whether the plant can handle the pissy heat and ir from say a hps.

So in conclusion i and others on other boards and even here are starting to bust these simple facts into your led heat and light science, mainly plants can get quite close to a hps just go google a few grows up.

One trick is my forte here, its all i ever needed :-)

Your "trick" is trolling, and you aren't even good at that.

Tell us about your grow space.
You're running a 2X2 tent, right?

LOL

You're right target CHUNKY !!!

I was laughing so hard from what KING said....my 1000w/HPS got furious !! People saying he doesn't toss out much heat...ha !! He then torched my basement.....I was about to harvest my WW too !!!

Seven years hear dealing with trolls like you, do the maths dickwit cause i would have got laughed out of general if i spread bs.

You like to put down before you check stuff, yes theres a lot of ir heat but very little covective or thermal heat.... science roundhouse :-)

Dstroy destroyed your science. Why didn't you respond to his post?

I run a 1x1x2 meter with 660w hps switchable, my veg tent is the 2x2 your on about, whilst you were struggling with seedlings thats where you seen my 2x2 veg tent kick your ass.

Like who gives a fuck what i run or grow, not the question, the amount a hps heats air as it rushes throught your tent at high cfm was the question but you just keep avoiding any realworld science question.

Tou do understand temp is a little more complex once you study yer...?

For the third fucking time, what part of "I don't give a fuck about heat" did you not understand?
If you want to argue about heat, respond to dstroy's post.

I did just you noobs aint got the concept of ir heat and convection and conduction.

Ya know theres differences right :-)
For the fourth fucking time, what part of "I don't give a fuck about heat" did you not understand?

Obviously you think he's a noob and also completely wrong according to your "science".

Your 2X2 kicks my ass?
Would you like me to take a few pics of my veg plants? (:

Seen em and your seedlings a while back, not great.

I will make my next post way more scientific with numbers and equations for heat transger and stuff.

I see some growers posting contra led science and i want in at ground level so i dont look a douche when this stuff rolls in over your snakeoil cold lights, like is it blue or red thats cold ;-)
