LOL thats the funniest thing i have ever heard. i've heard so many dumb excuses for people using scissors.... i'll give you a few good reasons NOT to use them...

#1: Oils bold to other oils. Trich's are oil, your human body produces oils... therefore the THC bonds to the oil on your body.
#2: Surface contact. when busting it up with scissors you touch all the bud to bust it up, touch it again to load it or roll it.... by the time your done whats left?

A good buster is made from stainless steel or 7075 aluminum, which is why they cost so much. these metals don't flake off into your weed like some people say, they don't steal the trich's from your weed.... all in all the buster keeps the bud more potent, busts it up more efficient and faster manner, so you get higher faster, or you can roll more for later......... scissors kind of get left in the past with the old folks.........
If you have a link for a quality grinder made of stainless, I'm interested. The major brands are all aluminum. cn

When you would like to buy an Herb Grinder you need to consider the following things:

How many chambers does a herb grinder have?
Some grinder has 2 parts and some have 4 parts.

How will you use your herb grinder?
The number of chambers a herb grinder has determines how well of powdered herb you’ll get and whether or not you’ll be able to collect kief.

What is it made of?
The best herb grinders are made of aluminum. You can try Wood grinder also. You can try wood grinder but they have one chamber.

Bear, did you ever find the grinder you wanted?
I have had several grinders and none have lasted... until now.
I have a Santa Cruz Shredder
https://santacruzshredder.com
I got the 3 piece for about 50 bucks or so. A little pricey but I don't think I'll ever have to buy another

I've never had a bong or a shredder.
Shit, I even relearned how to clean weed using two different fingers after the incident with the saw.

I ended up buying a Space Case, an aluminum unit. (The Santa Cruz I looked at is also aluminum). I have used it for a few years now (not daily) and it's working as well as it did day 1, so I'm happy with it.

There was a German unit "Cycle" that was 100% Stainless Steel; however they seem to have gone out of business or never really got off the ground. It looked perfect and MSRP was around $130.
Aluminum is too soft for fine machine threads

Could probably find a shop with a cnc and have one milled. Might be pricy but it'll be one of a kind lol
Last machine shop I worked at moved the shop about 2 years before I got laid off. When I was helping to load the stock rack, I found a 4" diameter, 12" long piece of titanium that wasn't in the inventory system. It went into my box and I started writing programming to make a grinder out of it once we got settled. I was copying a aluminium crank grinder I have, I think I posted it earlier. I never had time to do it, I never saved the program other than on their network, so I dont have that anymore, and I gave a guy I worked with the titanium so he could make parts for his race bike. It woulda been sweet.
