What makes an herb grinder the best?

It's all about the quality of material. Plastic is just too cheap and who really wants to grind up something in plastic? Wood ones are generally very beautiful in design, but just aren't build to last forever. Now Space Case are, there is no grinder out there like them, I know someone who has had the same one for seven years.

scrape off what you can and shoot it with some canned air. always works for me.

pfft scrape and blow? Take a damn socket for a socket wrench, light one side of the screen up and inhale through the other side.

nah topping a nice bowl of headies with keef is a beautiful experience.

you will be surprised how much you can brush out of the screen, a considerable amount!

My favorite herb grinder is my coffee bean grinder. A 10 second blast and I got 1/4 oz of ready-to-smoke herb. I keep it in an amber medicine bottle after that.

I use one for green and a diff one for regular comerch......

but I also like just bustn a nugg up with my trusty scissors also....

It's plastic, and not the best. I got it from a little corner store by the train station. Too much kief ends up embedded in it. Yes I can get it out with Iso, but it's not ideal is it?

I might go to Camden on Saturday and get some smoking goodies.

Thought I'd bump this thread whilst grinders are on my mind instead of pointlessly starting a new one. Anyone find some cute, girl-friendly grinders that are well-made (not just novelty)?

DIAMOND GRIND!

I use a Hamilton Beach electric coffee grinder. Yeah, I'm that lazy. A few pulses and it's perfect for me, flip it over and pulse it again to use the airflow to make sure it's all in the bowl, and enjoy.

I've been looking at this one grinder. It's a crystal catcher, with a see through top and it has a hand crank on it. I highly suggest it. Haven't used it but I can tell its a great idea. The cranking will let anyone grind it up a lot easier than without it. And the crystal catch is pretty awesome to have. I have a Med. Space Case and it has served me well for almost 7 years I had it engraved with '*STELTHY'S* BUD GRINDER 4:20' They are so good that on all my close friends Birthdays I have bought them identical Space-Cases with their names engraved into the lids.. they are awesome and all thats needed to keep em' sparkling clean and razor sharp is a quick clean with 'Cillit-Bang' once every 3 years or so I really can't say enough good things about them! - STELTHY

okay so in the last year i went from a sharpstone mill grinder, to a large space case... heres a bunch of side by side pics for you all to see the difference! by comparison, the sharpstone is absolute Garbage.

i started with the hand crank grinder i bought in amsterdam, it was/is an ok grinder but i found when u put a bud in u gotta push the top down and try and screw it onto the threads, this is not easy sometimes and ive had the lid stuck on the wrong threads impossable to open again, after that i know have same grinder as stelthys and its a very good grinder if i was to get another id get the same one only bigger for bigger budz

I like scratch resistant aluminum, with see-thru tops, and a larger micron for bigger kif production. vibrators are cool, to shake the kif down, but is it worth it? the pollen tools are cool, but it needs to be a cleaning tool also doesnt it?

I quit using grinders a long time ago. Everything gets crumbled down by hand or chopped with scissors directly into the smoking aparatus.

Electric coffee grinders work really well for busting up weed, just not so much if your herb is really dry... If you got some dank sticky shit though, or even just regular dry bud it grinds it really good.... and you will be fucking AMAZED at how much kief a coffee grinder collects.... its fucking stupid... lol... sometimes ill take a gram of some really dank shit, throw it in and grind it for like a 1 minute straight.... turn it to straight powder...... literally throw the weed away after and smoke the enormous pile of THC thats collected instead...
