Regarding white privilege there is a reversal as well. This just happened the other day..Went into a heavily minority Publix everyone in hot line was offered a sample as is Publix Deli tradition.
I was the only white face in line and offered nothing. Far from the first time too.

They can be racist, bigoted and hateful, but I don't see how that has to do with their place of employment. Work is work, free time is free time. They do the same shit with drug tests. I don't agree with their behavior, but live and let live....

That would be a fair statement if they were protesting to protect an endangered species of bird or better water for Flint MI. These guys were protesting to suppress Jews, black people and the supremacy of white people, men in particular. There is quite a bit of history showing these people don't leave that attitude at home. I don't want them teaching my kids, delivering my mail, policing the streets or working in a government job where they serve the public. Any employer whose reputation could be harmed by their employees public actions should be able to decide for themselves if this kind of action would reflect badly on them.
Not only that, while their speech is protected from government, it's not protected from me. I don't want people protesting under the flag that flew in places that people were gassed and burned in ovens. I don't want these people walking the streets, making children afraid because of the family they were born to. Or emboldening their schoolmates to act out upon them.
They can keep their racism, bigotry and hateful speech at home to themselves. Given all that others holding their beliefs have done in our history, racists should be afraid of being outed.
