i was a boy scout, one merit badge away from eagle scout. i see no reason(s) why girls couldn't learn things such as wilderness survival, first aide and citizenship in the world, the merit badge that held me back from being an eagle, as well or better than boys can..

we sold pretzels to help pay for summer camp.. the troop that is now in my town, since my old one folded many moons ago, sells mulch in the spring time.. no tagalongs in the boy scouts.
