So true I tried explaining this to someone if you grow good pot you can smoke it a week off the plant and it tastes great! Sure a cure helps a little but I love those fresh buds you only get that different fresh flavor for a week or 2.Brutal!! I watched that happen, it's what I do to my larffy bud BTW, not gonna trim that stuff. They did that to some nice tops though!
I wet trim my hydro "by hand", there is nothing wrong with it IMO; my weed drys neon green and smokes down to a fine white ash at the end of a joint while tasting great the whole way. Never snap crackles or pops. Never turns brown. Ready to smoke after 4-5 days and tastes "that much better" after a 3-5 week cure of course.
No it’s good for nothing! That shit gives hemp a bad name!better used as construction material than for anything else..

Last time I trimmed I noticed a shit load of trichomes came off after I cut a few plants and put the stack on an end table next to my trim chair. Anyways from just sitting in a small stack on that end table, the entire thing was covered in trichomes and I couldn't remove them even with a brillo pad lol. I totally fucked my nice wood table just from resting plants on there waiting to be trimmed. This is exactly what I did with my stuff I had bagged up to be dry sifted, I would never imagine doing it to tops and shit like they seem to be doing. I found wet trimming damaged a significant number of trichomes compared to dry trimming, could have been because I should have been more careful while trimming or something but this was just an observation from me using both approaches as I used to wet trim and dry on racks.
It's a good idea to trim over a screen. Trim-bin's (there are other brands) work very well. There is usually a lot of kief in the lower bin after I'm done trimming.Last time I trimmed I noticed a shit load of trichomes came off after I cut a few plants and put the stack on an end table next to my trim chair. So I figure you are gonna lose some no matter how careful you are.
I always trim over a container that holds all trim and any falling crystals. That stuff then gets used for dry ice sift or butter. It's a good idea to trim over a screen. Trim-bin's (there are other brands) work very well. There is usually a lot of kief in the lower bin after I'm done trimming.

I have a 110 mesh t-shirt screen that I use over top of parchment, it was $20ish at Michaels iirc. It's a good idea to trim over a screen. Trim-bin's (there are other brands) work very well. There is usually a lot of kief in the lower bin after I'm done trimming.
