I noticed last night, my water for flush, that I set quite low because the pH has been coming back to the reservoir at 6.1 no matter what I do. So I ended up dropping the pH of the water down to 5.5 came back at 6.4. So I did another flush and set the pH this time at 5.0 to try to bring down the pH coming back to the reservoir. It’s still coming back at 6.1 so I’m thinking the pH of my route zone is really high, I’m not sure how to bring it down I can see it is precipitating out most likely calcium and iron making the water coming back cloudy with gray swirls.

Any ideas from any of you guys would be great because I don’t really know how to bring the pH down at the roots. I am attempting to use a shower head hose and really run some water in high-volume through each pot individually, Because I feel the drip rings just don’t provide enough volume sufficient for flush.

Ran a hose and tip with shower head adapter ran probably 15-20 gallons through each and I see this! Thought it was perlite dust but I tasted it (lol just water and h202) and it is straight salt.

Was the perlite not washed initially?
