If you're dealing with a pure Sativa vs a pure Indica you'd find the Indica would be faster flowering but there's not many pure strains commercially available. It comes back to the selections the breeder has made,if they selected for fast flowering or not. You have to take most breeders notes from seedbanks like Attitude,Seedsman, etc with a big grain of salt and some of them are outright bullshit when it comes to flowering times, take your White Widow for example Seedsman didn't breed White Widow so presumably they have taken a W.W male and female and made f2's. The f2 generation is when you get a really large spread in the population so realistically you could have plants that will take from 8-12

I’ve never got them in their breeders packs from Attitude and I haven’t had an issue with anything that I thought had been swapped but I’m sure that some banks do switch out seeds which is a low act.
Companies ripping of a strains name and selling either their own version or f2’s really pisses me of,not only are they taking money away from the guys that originally did the work they are robbing the people buying the seeds of their cash and their time and space.

Big thing here is we have un educated growers like me who don't know who is the original breeder of a strain. Granted I know now that I can find out but that's only because of this Thread to be honest.
I just thought a white widow was a white widow for eg. I didn't realise there was more to it.

Some plants are will need staking even if they aren’t deficient, pretty much anything with Trainwreck in it will and a lot of the O.G dom stuff will too.

Its been happening since the start of the Dutch industry,Sensi had it happen that much to them they started White Label Seeds just to sell knock offs of all the other companies gear that had been knocking of their work.
