What’s happening?

Hey, has anyone ever seen leaves look like this and have any idea what may be causing it? It’s only happened in about 5 spots on both plants, happened roughly the same time for each plant, and is only on the tops.

Strain is crystal rain (northern lights x white widow).. Grown outdoors in canna coco plus. Flipped to 12/12 on the 2/1/18, and began noticing it around then. Started feeding flora 3-4 days ago at half recommended strength. (I only ever use half strength of nutes), They’re in an outdoor room, not using lights atm as roof comes off at 6am each morning and then they’re in near full sun til it’s time to put roof back on at 6pm.

Also started giving them cal/mag supplement about 4wks ago(which is only given once a fortnight) and gave at full recommended ratio rather than half strength which I’d usually do. .. I also spray them with eco neem once a week.

If anyone has an idea I’d appreciate your input. Have looked online and only found two similar pics neither having much detail to go along with. One of them was high nitrogen but those images affected all the leaves, not just sporadically in small sections like mine.

I agree about the nudes ;)

Also is there a chance you spilled something on them

It happens somtimes if you drop nutes on it

It could be a deficiency but the rest of your plant looks nice.

Hope it helps

Light bleaching from adapting to full intensity sunlight comes to mind. And/or dew from humidity, possibly magnifying the sunlight.
It wouldn’t be the first thing you said as they’ve always been in full intensity sunlight being an outdoor grow. But the dew/humidity I’m thinking could be doing it as there’s always condensation (not a lot tho) when I take the roof off in the morning.

I’m in no way qualified to say this but just thought if I mentioned it you could have a quick look into it and make your own decision.. I’ve seen photos on the internet of plants that are said to have an iron deficiency that look like yours. Good luck to you

I did see that too but from memory it was a lot more consistent throughout the plant. I will have another look *.
Thanks for that tho

So I looked It up again and this is one of the images I had seen prior to posting, but ruled it out only because has not affected any new growth on either of them, and the damage in this image seems to be quite uniform compared to a few splotches here n there on mine. (Although one pic does look similar). ? Idk.?

Yep it's water leading to leaf desiccation.
Definitely makes sense. I’ll be sure to check them after I remove roof in the morning. If that is the case than it’s most likely happening as I remove the roof the condensation on top drips onto some leaves?

Could be a concentrated drip from above, or direct contact on foliage from watering. If you examine plants in the am they often have some level of condensation, particularly after a watering. Just shake the plant.

edit: wind damage from a fan ?

Looks iron deficiency, have you check your ph meter? Maybe the plant cant acess to iron due the incorrect ph, Air renovation ?

Could it be something hotter than you think it is touching the plant when you put the roof back on?

I thought what eyelid said made sense since her plants looked very happy.

Deficiency isnt on my radar when they look like that not a botanist just saying

Yeah I must admit it does look too uniform when compared! Maybe not then
