Hey everybody I'm looking for suggestions for an led just for flowering, I have a meizhi 600 for a veg light looking for recommendations for a flowering led light
In a 2x4x6 tent for around 200$
If you're looking to spend only $200 then your best bet is to prob buy another cheap Alibaba or whatever light. I'd go for the one w/ the wildest claims, highest wattage listed that usually replaces 6x it's actual power draw In hps. It must also have the highest possible center par # so that it can be stated the most powerful light in its class. Shoot for only Red & Blue too cuz after all, those are the only colors a plant needs. Remember, if it says 300 x 3w that it's a 900w growing machine that will likely outyeikdcthe sun itself.
For real though, maybe look into putting together 2, 150w QuantumBoards & spend a little more to have a decent grow light.

I know all about par and leds and my 135$ meizhi has been producing equal to my uncles 375 advanced led of equal actual power draw, my 600 uses 205 actual draw on veg mode and is a kick ass veg light but I know theres 200$ lights or 2 150$ lights that hace more red than blue for my new flowering tent. No need for par speeches I know. My meizhi puts out 600 par at 18 inches with veg lights only, and at 24 inches from center at far corners I tested around 105 par. Apollo leds seem to have more reds

A quantum board 120 will veg better than all those lights.

This is a big complaint of mine, too. Whenever I get ready to pull the trigger on one of them, there is always an announcement of the next generation designs...or some kind of new feature. So, I wait....and then the one I want is always sold out. I guess that's a good thing for them...but I hope they are able to get and keep stuff in stock in the future.

I ended up buying a Nextlight Mini. It's good for a small tent grow. Right after I bought it, HLG put out that new slick 300 watt puppy....and that's what I wish I had gotten, instead. Oh well....another year, another light! :)

I do like those lights, my problem I'm using a 2x4 so preferably I'd use 2 smaller ones to spread the light evenly
For sure. Those lights r dope tho. I totally get what you r saying. I prefer to have my lights spread out as well. I'm an "alternative" led diy'r and I grow in 2 2x2s doing a half ass perpetual. One veg light and 1 flower light 18" wide as it covers plenty.
Could get some samsung f series strips, a driver and buy 3 or more 8ft aluminum U channels and build yourself one
