I'll try and do a search on him right now, pretty sold on this guys results though. Seems like a pretty solid brand, reflective seems a bit under everyone else, but not to the point of $ to reflective quality

You would do well to listen to @whitebb2727

He is a straight shooter with experience and results and no hidden agenda like the other t-5 growers mentioned.

I would like to know what ballast the lamp uses and how a warranty claim would be handled.

How can it be $100 less? Did you check plantlighting hydroponics?

I'm looking for the old ballast to take a pic. Not sure what I did with it. They are good ballast. Out of the three lights I only had one fail. I just emailed the company and gave them the model and which ballast it was and they sent a new one no questions asked.

Thank you.
Yes. 100% honest on customer support. I emailed them and within 4-5 days I had the new ballast. They shipped it for free as well.

I used a mix of Agromax bulbs. 2-veg, 2-bloom, 2-pure par, 1-10,000k+uva and 1 generic 4200k.

T5 can grow some nice buds.

Man that's some sexy buds! That almost makes me want to give a full run under t5s lol

I order the 8 bulb 2ft, they had a newer updated version like the agrobrites, I bought that one. It was $103, and I'm gonna look into those bulbs. Did you use a full spectrum the entire grow? Or blues for veg reds for flower(420 460 veg and forgot flower ranges)

I used the mixed spectrum I mentioned from start to finish. The 2 footer won't be nearly as good as the 4 foot ones.

Oh. Yea. The 2 foot will veg just fine. The 6500 bulbs that come with it will work just fine for veg until they need replacing. 6500 will make nice tight nodes.
That's good to hear! Do you have grow journals up here? I'd love to see the process under t5s. Kind of fan boying honestly. I'm pumping out probably double the watts you are and we've got similar buds...lol

I used 2x 2 bulb 2fters across from each other as side lighting a year ago. But ended up being too bulky, later down the road. so I went with some blurple strips from amazon instead lol same wattage but had to use 10 2ft strips ~70watts compared to 68 watts of the floros

Hey guys, finally saved up enough money to get a t5 veg light. My issue is brands...agrobrite is the cheapest(well there are cheaper but I want a good brand) sunblaze is a bit more, quantum is a lot more! I'm going for a 2ft 8 bulb for veg! So anyone vouche for what brand is reliable? Also it has to be ready to use power veg bulbs(2 420 2 460 2 Uvb) or.......go Chinese led like the viparspectra 300w

Agrobrite
Sunblaze
Hydroplanet
Viparspectra 300led
I would check out Nickel City bad-boy T5's. They've got some sick lights

The problem with LED is you can't get the truth out of the factory about wattage and a good high watt LED needs to be 5-7 feet away from your plants.

Nah. I run cobs and diodes. Both can be run at about 18 inches on the cob without lenses and about 30 inches on the diode light.

Doesnt look like anyone has been on this thread in awhile but...i was wondering if anyone has vegged with t5s under rdwc system or any dwc system and how well did it work?. I just bought 6 hydrocrunch t5 8 lamp light fixtures and am going to replace my 4 600 w mh and 2 400 w mh in my veg room. I have a flower room that i flip to so about 9 weeks and a few days is all ill have time to veg for. Just figured transitioning clones to undwr the t5 would be bettwr on them.

9 week veg is a lot to ask from a T5 in my opinion. Whitebb is the seasoned vet though, if see if he would reply and go by his advice

Dont think thatll be enough time? Im gonna lst and tie down during veg then get my scrog up for when i flip to under my 1000ws. I mean usually they gwt way to big with metal halides anyway lol
