DIY with Quantum Boards

Something you will see with the COBs is when you flip, they go into flower within the first week, there is not that delay you get with HPS.
1g dry /kW means you didn't mess up, just that you can improve.

So I barely pulled 1gpw with my first QB grow. Not sure what went wrong. If it was the temps low 70s or the fact I didnt change out the water the whole grow or the half assed scrog.

Buds smell and look good. But kinda disappointed with the #s.
Not changing the water is going to have an effect on nutrient balance I would of thought, topping up a res and monitoring the EC your going to get high EC when you dont have the K or the P ratios right ey. Since your going to have all the nutrients the plants didn't fancy earlier on accumulating bringing the EC to a false reading.
But every point in your post would of been a contributing factor. Its something to work from though.
Onwards and upwards.

Why do you think if you got 8oz from a 2x2 you would quadruple that in a space that is only twice larger?

I only got 3/4 of a pound in my 4x4 last run... it was my first run tho lol. Hopefully I get at least 1lb this run. Then, work my way up.
Cause thats how squares work man

Day 30. Feeding them every day. Gonna have to start 2 part feeding per day to see optimal results. That's the only drawback of vegging too long in small pots, unless youre drip feeding. So as long as I can keep up with them I should have a nice tent of juicy buds in 40 days.
They'e soaking up that QB shine!

Been trolling through this thread. Loving the grows with these QB Boards. I'm installing 4 288's in my 5x5 tonight. This is my first grow with LED. Switched over from a 1100 watt HPS. I'll be running 2 HLG 320H 54b drivers for the 4 boards. Slightly worried this won't be enough light for a 5x5 tent. I have a 315 watt CMH that can go directly in the middle if it turns out I need abit more power. going to give it a try with just the 4 boards at first though.

288's are chunking up my girls - " who doesn't love chunky girls ? " ... Just sayin

288 ( 90cri ) with 304 side rig - 260w plus 155w dimmed (batwing)
12/12 cycle.

Well the candy girls are going well , I have been growing them in grow bags , 1 gallons like member " High low Grow " mainly because I like the SOG style of grows and I can move stuff around without much issue. My " wing " rig runs the 304s (s5 ) and am happy with those boards .... Eventually I may upgrade them but not now. I can push it if I need to.

My next build will be a combo 120/288 rig after a couple of more runs .... As I plan to open up a new space. Anyways .... The godfather is really fattening up going in to later weeks.
The ducks foot - I goofed on some feedings as I kinda wrecked the leaves BUT she is still is chunky and stinky and has about 2 1/2 weeks give or take ... So she might get flushed .

Quick question .... Can the 120s ( pair ) be daisy chained ( molex to molex ) and powered from one driver ... If so which would you recommend ?

Looking at throwing my 4 288s with dual 120s in center .... Run the 120s for early stages then full rig power for rest of grow .....

And will Amazon get supplied as same time ... Stock says unavailable.

They are on the way. Yes you can wire the 120s the way you are thinking about. You can use 24volt CV driver. You can use a 48volt CV as well. 2 boards would be good on hlg-120-24a
