The Chinese Communist Party (C.C.P.) has systematically infiltrated China’s expanding private sector and now operates inside more than half of all nonstate firms; it can manipulate or even control these companies, especially bigger ones, and some foreign ones, too. The modern Chinese economy is a party-corporate conglomerate.

But I'm happy bobbing in the wake of Industry.:wall:

Good read.

We'll all be bobbing in the wake of the Great Ship of China soon.

Will they charge us admission to see the islands we bought for them?

One could ask you the same thing.

Thought you only came out at night. Back in your box before the sunlight burns you.
People listen to, understand and respond to what I post.

Everyone else here just thinks you're a retarded lonely loser who likes to put women in dog kennels and associate with dumb bitch racist antisemites.

Shit thread by the way, it's only good because you keep getting owned in it and you're the OP.

I didn't miss anything.

You called The Scientific American magazine 'click bait' and have pointedly ignored the facility's ability to manufacture solar power at night using stored heat.

Stick to your keyboard and mouse, Stinkydigit.
You are confused. I never called the Scientific American article click bait.

I'm pointing out that the cost of concentrated solar power in kw per hr is not competitive with photo voltaic or fossil fuels. The trend of reducing cost of CSV is not promising. You focus on efficiency, which is not important to the consumer also irrelevant to them. I'm not saying that CSV has no place in a sustainable system but it's not ready to even be a bit player.

Even in overall "space" efficiency you get more w/sq ft from PV in the sort of places you'd put a focused array.

If focused were objectively better than PV then that's the horse I'd back, but I'm a bit of a nerd (albeit with a potty mouth sometimes) and the small details are key.

There are graphs and stuff but no-one seems to trust them anyways.

When you find you are digging yourself into a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

A remedial example of how to apologize:

"It was insensitive, tone deaf and dumb. There is no excusing it – not based on the taste-skewing mores of talk radio or the then-blogosphere, and not based on my intentions."

https://www.mediaite.com/online/joy-reid-apologizes-for-past-anti-gay-articles-insensitive-tone-deaf-and-dumb/

Maybe you should practice in front of a mirror for a while just to get used to the idea.

You do have to mean it for the apology to help you heal.

You say the use of the words I choose to use are offensive. I say the words you choose to use are offensive.

How does the fact that you are offended by a word I might choose to use render the argument I invoke moot?

Why doesn't it work the same way, back? If you use a word I find offensive, doesn't that also render your argument moot?

Using your own logic

It's not about you, snowflake.

It's about other people, how they have been treated including horrific violence upon them. It's been explained to you very well. It's time to own up to being a shithead and apologize.

Why do you believe it's OK to offend women but not OK to offend homosexuals?

Except for women, though.. according to you. Why shouldn't women deserve the same kind of respect?
It's obvious that you understand but stubbornly reject the concept. Just apologize and start your own growth.

You are using the same argument to justify the f word you use to insult gay men and switching to the word bitch. Yes, the word bitch is distasteful and I don't use it in normal discourse but the word doesn't have the same meaning to women that the f word does to gay men.

So, get over it, and apologize. Don't try to bullshit people who are more mature and wise than you.

You don't get to decide how much meaning the word has to women who are affected by it. How entitled are you? You're a man. YOu don't get to decide how much your words affect women who've been affected by them.

women hate it when men call other men bitches but they love it when immature boys jerk off to them getting their assholes duct taped open
