Anyone use Dyna-Gro Grow in Veg and Bloom?

Currently running Lucas formula and have been for a long time. If I could eliminate 1 bottle from the shelf it would be nice.

Is the Grow 7-9-5 gonna be good enough for an all around option?

or can you recommend an all around fertilizer?

The MC looks like its granular. Do you dissolve it and add to your reservoirs or can it be poured directly into your rez?

And the PPM calc on the MC website shows in a 10 gallon rez i would need roughly 150g for flowering.

will this stuff work the same way as GH? By that, i mean, will I just continue using my TDS pen to keep nutes in the proper range?

thanks

Even the president of dyna Grow says to only use foliage pro (not Grow) for marijuana.

He made the bloom bottle due to popular demand. Not plant needs. Good info on lab tested nutrient content in this interview.

Pk boosting is a myth told to take your money. It yellows leaves, shortens flower time and reduces yield in my experience.

And I got the MC.I will have to try it on a plant or two. Nice sample deal for a few bucks shipping cost.

very true. i used the foliage pro for veg, then tried the bloom and the P value was way too high. yellowed my leaves up in maybe 2 days. took a few weeks to get them back on track and i'm sure it affected yield

i had issues with the maxi crop dropping my pH way too fast when used with RO water. keep your eye on it if you use RO

Ok. Thanks for the heads up. I thought the silica in it might be a buffer.

Think it needs ph up if used with buffered soil?

I never ph nutes in my well water in soil.

it seems like the problem is just with RO. another user had the same problem as me. in 4 days, it would be down to low 5's.

with tap, most people are saying it's very pH steady.

i'm gonna try it again with well water and see what it does.

Mine is in the mail, the stuff is very fine powder and dissolves in water easily. No need to pre dilute it. I havent picked @GreenleafNutrients brain yet on the feeding yet but head on over to the Mega Crop thread, lots of info in there.

Sea Grow is good shit -- and cheap. :eyesmoke:

I should mention that sea grow does not have any calcium. This is common with dry nutes because calcium tends to attract moisture. If you are growing in soil w/compost or EWC, you've probably got enough calcium. But in hydro you definitely want to add calcium to your mix.
Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro has everything, which is one reason I like it. The only caution I would give is to make sure it doesn't freeze or become contaminated. I use a ketchup bottle to dispense it, and never pour anything back into the bottle.

I think it's a great veg nute. but it lacked in bloom for me.
I like the 1-2-2 or 1-3-3 of floranova bloom or maxibloom for flowering

Yeah, different strains have different preferences.
I had good luck with geraniums this year using Sea Grow Bloom (4-26-26) and may try it on a cannabis plant or two in the next crop. It might need a little more N. I've got a jug of alaska fish fertilizer (5-1-1) that would compliment the sea grow well.
Hmm...

Looks like good fert TBH and at a glance looks similar Mega Crops ingredients but MC is geared towards our special plant. I will be watering my veggies and hot peppers that are in me tent as well!

They have free samples if you want to pay the shipping or enter on the Mega Crop thread and you could win it.
