What do you suppose Cloobeck is referring to here;

Cloobeck - "I've talked to [Chuck] Schumer, I've talked to [Ron] Wyden, I've talked to [Nancy] Pelosi, and I said "If you use the term "Billionaires again, I'm done."
...
Ruhle - "Then are you worried that the Democratic party is going too far to the left?"
Cloobeck - "So much so it drives me nuts! So much so, it would make me quit the party! And, I've made it very clear, I'll cut your money off! And others will do the same. We've had enough! We need a new brand!"

Why is he upset that Democrats use the term "Billionaires"?

Why is he threatening to "quit the party" if they go "too far to the left"?
hey pada you've had a couple of days here whats happening?

i think he's refering to the part of the interwiew that you just cut out here ill bold it out for you

the interviewer framed the question it's clear he's answering the question asked

now are you expecting him to carry on funding a party that says "Down with the billionaires, we can't stand the rich!"??
shoulld he be buying them the pitch forks and petrol bombs ready for when they come to destroy him just because he is rich?

So how's their representation of you going?

Got affordable healthcare?

Got a decent wage?

Got a good education?

Got a police force that respects your rights and a Justice department that protects you from their abuses?

Got a good tax rate?

Hint; if you aren't a multi millionaire, the answers are all, 'no, now shut up and go away until you can fork over a six figure campaign donation'.

yes to all of those minus possibly the police force.

our pre-natal care ran us $65,000 and we paid only a small fraction of it.

No, that would be her repeating it as a strawman question while framing it in a way that makes some viewers automatically believe it's true

Nobody in the Democratic party is saying "Down with the billionaires! We can't stand the rich!" except for maybe a fringe minority of extremists who don't represent average Democratic voters. The criticism is that the rich and corporations should pay their fair share of the tax burden instead of shifting it onto the poor and middle class;

Nobody is saying that. You're using the same argument Bill O'Reilly used to push "Ya know, some people say...". Who are these people? Quote somebody saying what Cloobeck is claiming

How's that exactly if I don't hold any ill will towards anyone rich for being rich. The issue arises when rich people legally bribe politicians, then politicians represent their interests over the interests of the American people, their constituents, who they're supposed to represent.

Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens

Cloobeck is pushing a strawman argument that nobody - or very few - actually hold. He actually named the three Democratic congress members (Schumer, Pelosi, and Wyden) when he was referring to "them". Have any of them ever said anything close to what Cloobeck is claiming they said? Not even Bernie Sanders says that. Do you disagree with the idea that rich people and corporations should pay their fair share or do you want to keep arguing against a position nobody holds?

Do you have a comprehension problem?

No one is saying rich people are bad, with the possible exception of the news interviewer in an attempt to create the strawman argument.

@Padawanbater2 just said he doesn't have anything against rich people, as long as they don't have unfair influence over our political system and pay their fair share of taxes.

I happen to agree with that very same statement.

Rather than call people names, can you say you agree with this position? If not, how do you disagree?

I've seen the same interview and I don't see him misrepresenting anything.

On the underlying issue, do you agree with the idea of rich people attempting to bully political parties by threatening to withhold their campaign dollars?
i do not see any bullying in the video presented
