Indeed and it would! That is a tasty looking little piece of kit alright. How easy/difficult is assembly? Bear in mind my DIY skills are limited to changing a plug
Its really simple. Took me 5 minutes. Its a couple of screws to attach the LED board to the heat sink, the rest is wiring the plug.

How's the boys and beur :bigjoint:

Had my ladies on 12/12 last night for the first time.
I checked the temps. Lights on are 23 and light off its 7.5 :wall:

I usually grew in a much larger tent with a 1000w and plenty of space for a heater. But this tent has no room.

Any suggestions on how to add heat when lights are out.

Could I leave the 250cfl on but cover it to stop the light but keep the heat ?

I can't afford anything at the moment man. I've only 3 ladies on the go so.a.big tent would be alot of hassle.
Would the light from the thermostat not upset the dark cycle.

I read if temps go below 10c then growth stops. Not sure if it's the plant temp or soil temp.

Right.
Just installed a heater. Fairly packed in there now !
It has 750, 1500 or 2000 setting. I have it at 750. It's turns on when cold. With the light on as is its reading 24 degrees. Il check it tomorrow again after work to read lights off temp.

Got to go to bed :eyesmoke: up in 6 hours !
Have a great Friday everyone

Ducktape is your friend

In soil your roots have insulation

Tell me your set up and we can trouble shoot and make the best of it for u :-)

We all start somewhere and I've fucked up and learn as I went fixing and fucking up till I got it right then fucked up and learned some thing and kept going till I now do what I do to pre fix fuck ups and have a system that works from and I know what to do when shit starts to show signs of going arsed over face

I once grew weed that looked like weed smoked like weed but had zero affect, lol was funny at the time but it was a learning curve.

Where is the tent ? That heater might burn your ladies. Why not run your light at night when it's cooler like me

Day time is warmer

I'm planning a she'd grow with insulation and a solar powered heater and thermostat for day time lights. And a pond with running water to cover up the exhaust air noise

Sneaky sneaky lads and ladies

It's in my shed on a hill.
I'm hoping when I read the temps tomorrow they will be around 20c

I do run my lights at night 6pm to 6am. But from 6am to 6pm the temp in the tent is 7.5c. Way too low.

Sneaky Sneaky indeed. I always have lights on at night. Coz you never know who could call during the day.

Just doing some house hunting on Daft.

There is an old farmhouse near me for sale.
It's 180k with 3 acres of land ! Savage looking place. But the best thing about it is it comes with 40acres of forest for an extra 100k.
Fuck me ! If I had the money that's something I'd buy.

Imagine what could be done with that amount of space :bigjoint:
We bought our hovel (traditional 3 room cottage) and a fresh built 'shed' with the all important attic for 31k in 2011. The place would have paid for itself easily if I'd been growing end to end over that time period in my 4x4 tent. If I ever get greedy and fill the attic..... o_O

I always strip everything out under a scrog screen, and I'll probably do the same growing 'normal' shaped plants.
The thing is. These plants are all over the shop.
I've had them tied down since day one. One plant is only 2" off the soil sideways but I reckon is 15" to 20" in length.

Would it help if I just trimmed the leaves instead of cutting through right off ?

One thing might help to hold the heat would be wrap a duvet around the tent. The other is that the floor will suck the heat out of it so if u had a sheet of foam under it.

All done before the grow brother :bigjoint:

I've 20mm of foam sheeting under the tent and cover it in a thick blanket.
When lights come on this evening il check the temp and hopefully it will all be good.

Them fold able panel/cheat heater are great and fairly cheap.
Two flowering rooms is my solution. One on 12 while the other is of. Add fresh air too.
Or vegging room if its really cold.

 Haven't heard that in 20yrs!!!

Hope you sort the temp issue. Styrofoam? If you know anyone with a supply. Of course I could just be talking out my ass, I'm hardly the most knowledgeable.
I haven't said it in about 20 years ! :p

Plenty of Styrofoam in the shed. 10 more minutes the lights are on and I can see what max/min it went to with the new heater installed.
