Hey guys,

I have some issue with one of my plants, she always get some nasty burns on leafs. Sometime more and sometime is spreading on almost all leafs, I changed water few times, ph around 5-5-7 I try to keep it stable around 6, ec is low 0.9 and no sign of getting better, roots looks good she drinks a lot of water but I cannot find the issue. I use Long flowering powder feeding and I added Cal-mag last 2 weeks and flushed many times. She is in third week of flowering stage.
Anyone knows some possible cause?20171112_191656.jpg 20171112_191651.jpg
Thanks

I always figure those copper colored leaves like your 2nd pic are phosphorus burn. I'm not positive because your EC isn't bad. I usually stay under .7 EC and I would have problems at .9. Other people run way higher and don;t seem to have problems.

that would be my guess of your problem. NPK ratio is probably not good for cannabis

more info on your nutes needed
Too much K locking out Mg?
Is getting worst guys....do you think the nutes are the problem ? I use Greenhouse powder feeding long flowering N-P-K-Mg: 18+12+18+(1.2)
At this point I don't know what to do to stop this problem. Weird is I have other 3 other plants in the box and they don't have any problem, that's why I didn't change the nutes yet.

Are they all the same strain? The other 3 may start doing it eventually. I would stop feeding for a week or so and see if it improves.

Theres only 1.2% Mg.

Tell us everything you are using man. Show us labels to make it easier.

Ideally you want a K:Ca:Mg ratio of 4:2:1

If thats the only Mg the plant is getting thats like a 14:1 ratio K:Mg

I added Cal-Mag for the last 2 weeks but no improvement.
I used only Green house powder feeding for veg period and flowering also until I saw the problem then I started to add Cal-Mag and Some seaweed and flushed few times.
I also tried to give her very little food and showed no improvement. I will flush again and change nutes for her.

Why would you flush or reduce nutes?

0.9EC wasnt over feeding.

Those nutes are trash from a trash seed, company in it for profit$

They dont even have calcium or sulfur. Two very important nutrients.

IMO way too,much ammoniacal nitrogen

Look if you are serious about growing. Go to JR Peters website and buy a 5lb tub of 5-12-26. Thats 2252grams. Depending how big your setup is get a 25lb bag as the price point is way better. $50 for 25lb vs $20 for 5lb. Pickup some yaraliva brand calcium, nitrate. Again 25lb bag has a better price point but may not be sensible for your setup.

3g/gal 5-12-26 and 2g/gal calcium nitrate. I make stock solutions with distilled, water so it equates to 1oz/gal for easy measurements. This will,be about 1.4EC with my,tap it comes out to 1.6EC final. I aim for 1.2-1.4EC total so I go a little less than 1oz/gal.

I bought a 5lb bag of monopotassium phosphate but I dont even use that anymore. I may experiment in the future again with it and see if it,makes a,difference.

25lb bag of jacks and calcium nitrate cost me $90 and will, make, over 5000gallons.

JR peters is a lab. They specialize in nutrients and water testing.

Greenhouse cant even, make good seeds which is what they specialize in, not nutrients. They got into that market for pure profits.

I was not sure of the nute quality because I had good results in the past with powder feeding from green house but was mixed with some others and maybe thats why.
I will know for sure now when I change the nutes.

Still equates to 0.015 cents a gallon with shipping.

$0.78 a whole grow.

I spend about $1.5 per plant on,nutrients for the whole grow. Veg and bloom
