Name a country that's better than America

i can deny that. and i do deny that. because the palestinian population is growing.

the only reason to call that a holocaust is the same reason why germans blamed jews for their WWI loss. it not only cheapens the real holocaust but it foments hatred towards jews everywhere.

but by all means, continue giving likes to and buddying up to a holocaust denier.
You have a serious problem; we're right and you're lying.

You shit post endlessly but don't provide any evidence.

I have posted plenty and that well is bottomless. The systematic mistreatment and dispossession of the Palestinian People is real, it's ongoing, it's shameful, America is supporting it and here you are defending it.

By your logic, it's not a holocaust until 6 million Palestinians are dead at the hands of Israelis. That's pretty twisted, even for you.

You make any reasonable person sick with your lies and diversions.

You regularly ask other people you disagree with on these forums to consider suicide. What I want to know is, have you?

...recently?

Buck is cool, he's a fiery cunt but cool nonetheless and I don't even agree with him most of the time.

You on the other hand, literally noone would miss you...

Yet the Israelis have a state and the World's support, and Palestinians have almost none.

In other words, you cannot come up with a valid excuse to whitewash Israeli war crimes.

This is an excellent point. I don't advocate violence against police or anyone else, but you'll notice the police aren't shy about being violent to citizens. Isn't that a violation of American's civil rights?

There's yet another mass shooting in yet another church in the news today, this time in Texas. Our society is coming apart when mass shootings (defined as 4 victims in one incident) occur ON A DAILY BASIS in America now.

Civil disorder and the effects of authoritarianism are already here.

Fascism is the confluence of political authoritarianism and plutocracy. Doesn't that sound like a good description of what's happening right here, right now?

Or does it need to get worse first? Because it will.
Oh, it's going to get worse. A lot worse. And you, and other extremist like you (left and right) are to blame. Listen, I can understand exactly where you are. You are disgusted. You want to make a difference. Let me give you a bit of advice. The answer is not at the extremes. If you want to grow, join the military. Join the peace corps. Do something where you give up control. It's only then will you realize what you, and the people around you already have. It's what I want to give everyone. Freedom.
Let me ask you this. What is your ideation of what society could be like? What will you do with the half of humanity that thinks conservative? What you see happening around you is democracy, with all its warts.

Someone that has a problem with the undue influence that corporate America has over our government...should join the military which has been waging war on behalf of corporate America for decades??

That’s your advice?

You beat me to it lol

I'm not a leftist, I'm a centrist. For the record, so is Bernie, by any objective measure;

I think America has gone way too far to the Right- and the Democratic Party has aided and abetted this ideological migration.

I'm of the opinion that simply voting for Democrats does not achieve the necessary results, so ripping a page from the Conservative playbook and starting a party that's further Left than the Democrats will both give them cover to move Left and indeed the imperative, if they'd actually like to be elected.

This party doesn't even exist yet, but the Democrats have been losing seats with alacrity, proving that whatever strategy they've been using is not resonating with the electorate. Dick Durban's 'new' idea of moving towards the 'center' between a right wing Republican Party and a not much less conservative Democratic Party has been tried and has proven to be an excellent way to lose seats- over 1000 across the country at the State and national level at last count. And yes, those Statehouse seats DO matter. Some of the political geniuses here nonsensically seem to think otherwise.

So when doing the same thing and expecting different results finally grows tiresome, I'm left with trying something different. Having met with others around my city who feel the same way, I can say it's an idea that's rapidly gaining momentum.

The military mindset is part of the fucking problem, I see few solutions there. After all; if their brand of authoritarianism and excessive militarism was the solution, it certainly would have worked by now. We've thrown plenty of money at it, that's for sure!

Wanna know how the rest of the world viewed Mr Obama in 2012?

Excerpt from the same (British) political compass dot org website;

"The US Presidential Election 2012

This is a US election that defies logic and brings the nation closer towards a one-party state masquerading as a two-party state.

The Democratic incumbent has surrounded himself with conservative advisors and key figures — many from previous administrations, and an unprecedented number from the Trilateral Commission. He also appointed a former Monsanto executive as Senior Advisor to the FDA. He has extended Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, presided over a spiralling rich-poor gap and sacrificed further American jobs with recent free trade deals. Trade union rights have also eroded under his watch. He has expanded Bush defence spending, droned civilians, failed to close Guantanamo, supported the NDAA which effectively legalises martial law, allowed drilling and adopted a soft-touch position towards the banks that is to the right of European Conservative leaders. Taking office during the financial meltdown, Obama appointed its principal architects to top economic positions. We list these because many of Obama's detractors absurdly portray him as either a radical liberal or a socialist, while his apologists, equally absurdly, continue to view him as a well-intentioned progressive, tragically thwarted by overwhelming pressures. 2008's yes-we-can chanters, dazzled by pigment rather than policy detail, forgot to ask can what? Between 1998 and the last election, Obama amassed $37.6million from the financial services industry, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. While 2008 presidential candidate Obama appeared to champion universal health care, his first choice for Secretary of Health was a man who had spent years lobbying on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry against that very concept. Hey! You don't promise a successful pub, and then appoint the Salvation Army to run it. This time around, the honey-tongued President makes populist references to economic justice, while simultaneously appointing as his new Chief of Staff a former Citigroup executive concerned with hedge funds that bet on the housing market to collapse. Obama poses something of a challenge to The Political Compass, because he's a man of so few fixed principles."
