Slow growth in flower

Good afternoon. I have 4 plants in a 50 gallon RDWC system (1 Pineapple Chunk, 3 Ayahuasca Purple). I THINK I had a Nitrogen toxicity issue last week. Dark green leaves. Leaves were also clawing and cupping. I flushed the system and added nutrients at about 2/3rds of what they were. I only added 10 teaspoons of Nitrogen. I'm using the Gen. Hydro. Trio.

My questions...

How long does it normally take to get over Nitrogen toxicity?
Could it be something else?
Does anyone have advice for me?

I grow in an insulated shed in my backyard. I use Black Dog lights. Room temp is usually 83 degrees during the day. Nutrients are never over 70. The room has AC, a humidifier, a dehumidifier, there are 4 fans, with an 8 inch exhaust fan that will easily change out the air in a few minutes.

The plants look OK, but they basically stopped doing anything right in the middle of flower. I'm kinda running out of time. Any advice will be most appreciated.

Cheers.

T.

Sort of a bad time to nuke a plant. No way that I know to get the yield back, short of revegging. Personally, I'd rather start over than reveg. Taking your nutes down is the correct action.

Definitely N poisoning! The cupping, the dark green, the waxiness and stunted flower bloom all tell-tale signs.

Did you change up your feed regimen for bloom to reduce N in favor of P and K? GH Trio still has N in flower, as it should, so you're currently continuing to add N. Excess ammoniacal nitrogen in particular will stunt flower growth and AFAIK this is the backbone of N in GH Trio.

Looks in pretty bad shape for late flower dude. I'd be tempted to start over too.

Dry salts gives you full articulation over individual macronutrients, thus making isolation of nitrogen real easy. Total control is one of many reasons you might want to consider dry ferts.

Honestly, if i didnt have a plant in soil all of this would be oil. Got 9oz from the soil
Damn.. they are already done? Sep 13th they were really small and their already chopped?? Nice!!! Did they explode in growth over 30 days?

No, the hydro stuff was almost a complete failure. I did flush for a few days, leaves did flatten out, and buds got marginally larger, but i made oil out of most of it.

The soil plant was the icing on the cake. My friends are digging it, one compared it to bud that was tested at 28%. I dont think its that crazy, because tjat strain isnt known for it. but its good to be related to, like that.

Ironically, i may have a drug test in the near future so i really dont know what it's like. I cant tell you how bad I just want to grab a bud and eat it like an apple. Haha. Here is that plant.

It was a star from the second it hatched. Just one of those seeds. Now every mother fucking friend I have that grows is telling me I told you so... grow in soil... pricks

Damnnn, looks amazing. And yes I grow in soil as well, I have a friend that grows in soil and gets dank bud. I am hoping for quality bud as this is my first grow and majority of people say your first grow is just to experiment but I'm going for quality!!! Been taking my time and putting effort into my first grow. I'm 4 weeks into flower and my buds smell chronic!! Im really hoping for some dank dank!!

Any tips on harvesting? As my plants are about to be harvested within the next 30-40 days I think!!

The cure came out bitchen on my buds. When they were growing you could smell it at my front door. I grow in a shed in the backyard.

Tips? I try to dry slow. I do it in my shed where I have complete control. Watch them at every step till they have been in jars for a week or 2. The best thing I can recommend is a small hygrometer. You can get them at Cigar International for cheap. This will measure the humidity in the jar. You need to keep it below 60%, and above 50. This of course just my opinion... I'm sure someone will want to debate this. Another thing I do is add a humidity pack. Right now i use a 62%. The pack keeps the humidity at a certain precentage. 62, or 55% i use the higher one because buds will lose humidity quick in a sack. So get a hygrometer so you KNOW where your at, humidity packs are super cheap at BGHydro. They are made by Boveda and integra

Growweedeasy has a very comprehensive step by step on harvest and curing. The cure is more important than a lot of other things in growing. It will make the difference between bud, and crazy good bud.

Thanks man. I grew that with a Platinum P4. I was pretty surprised.

Youre gonna rock it. You're already in the right place. There are some brilliant people (men and women) on this site. Learn all you can get books by Ed Rosenthal. Learn from your grow, take thorough notes, avvurate measurements, all that. Ill always help you if i can

You are gonna have so much fun in the next few weeks. You may want to look into a PK booster. As I understand it, it makes the plant think its in trouble and adds a stress. The plant then pushes all its energies into pulling nutrients from the leaves and piles it on the buds. Black strap molasses is another easy booster just 1 teaspoon per feeding. The plant uses the sugars like an an energy drink (sorta). Works well with the PK booster. I used both on that plant in the pictures. DON'T use too much of the booster, more isnt better with this stuff. I use Gen Hydro Koolbloom DRY, IT'S DIFERENT THAN Koolbloom liquid, there are a few PK boosters out there. AND be sure to flush for more than a week with the stuff

I have been in flower for about 4 weeks and I have been feeding my plants 1.5 table spoon of big bloom per gal, 2 tsp of tiger bloom per gal, and giving 1 tsp of molasses per gallon every watering. I feed with nutrients, then feed with nutrients again, and then I just water with plain water and molasses.
My plants are in 10 gal pots and they each drink a full gal of water every 4-6 days
