Wus up guys, so to start I have a Canuk White Widow Auto that is out doors. It's in a 5 gal smart pot and is LST'd. This is my first experience with autoflowers and I assumed they would at least a little faster to finish. Every year I always do some outdoors but never with a Auto and I'm honestly lost! Been feeding it the same regiment as my outdoor blueberry and the blueberry is off the hook! Unfortunately where I live it's getting close to being to cold at night out doors so I'm getting a little worried... Take a look at my pics let me know what you think. Personally I think she not done but Idk. Starting to seem to be putting on sum weight everything is stating to sag, but another problem is that there's not really a smell. Let me know what you think. Also I recently was told that my shit re-vegged. Never herd of that. I am freaking out guys so any help will help!

As Sir72 asked, where are the leaves?

As for time, White Widow is Sativa which takes a lot longer for the buds to ripen than the average plant.

terrible genetics. That plant is finished.Next time dont LST outdoors.Whats the point when you have a giant ass free HID in the sky.Your not trying to train a plant to sit under a canopy,The sun will give you 100,000 LUX on a sunny day.Thats enough to cover that plant and than some.I would throw that plant in the trash.not even worth trimming

What did you end up doing? How is your plant looking now?

Also canuk is an amature breeder, these are probably f1s and maybe not the best selections. Ive grown plenty of weird creations breeding aint easy. Also white widdow was larfy like that for me when i grew dinafems.

Were almost on the same page now, I believe its healthier to give your autos a darker period and everyone can figure out how much on their own because like you said, it doesnt really matter. They will yield better with ideal light and dark phasing. There are a lot of factors that determine the outcome and this is just one minor factor.

Hey dholt

Im not sure what you've got going on there..

Looking at the smooth edges and density, it does actually look like the plant has revegged...but since you claimed its an auto..I cant see that happening.

I'm very familiar with autos, as I live on the prairies in Canada, and need autos to finish properly...I have been growing them for a few years..Actually, they're my primary focus now...If you know what you're doing..they can be great..if not you end up with a smozzle..

First, where did you buy your beans? If you havent bought from a reputable source that has bred multi generational lines to reduce ruderalis influence substantially you could end up with a very poor result...

That said, there are some things to help future grows...20 hours minimum light...start to finish (yes even through flowering) see the advantage? These are race cars! Some Auto strains can get stressed easily..know your strain. LST, if done right, can be effective...Ponytailing to get some of those bottom branches growing early is a big help...Key is genetics and light..If you can start them inside under a decent light with 20-24 hour for the first 3 weeks to a month you're ahead if the game...Point is..you've got 3-5 weeks to build the plants frame for buds..any delay..and your harvest will suffer...
Plant them in the pot you intend to finish them in..even if you have to drill some holes in the pot and bury when the time comes outside

For some auto strains you can even be a little more bold and FIM or top them..but I would wait until at least the third node..possibly 4 to do so..

Here my own strain of auto (yet un-named) finishing up..Started breeding more photo genetics with Jack the Ripper(male) into my autos..crossing with the best of Girl Scout Cookies Auto, Green Crack Auto, and GG4 Auto from Expert seeds..The JTR allowed me to convert my fem seed to reg a few generations back..and since Identifying the strongest autos from the offspring (2 gens after the JTR)..

I'm still using photos to cross with my autos to further dilute out the ruderalis..

Here's a recent snap..Nice and frosty..

Who says autos can't do well..? :) The only thing you give up..you can't maintain auto mother plants..and you sacrifice on ozs..but considering the turnover time wise..many would see that as a fair trade..

Mine sort of looks like that, I’ve been researching and I think Autos can regen/reveg is given the proper stress/ care or conditions. For me I think mine did this because the PH was too high(above 7). I didn’t really know how to correct it properly so I’ve been battling the PH pretty much it’s entire life. The first 4 weeks went ok, if I knew then what I know now about PH...... this is what it looks like now

I am currently flushing with plain tap water PH down to 6.5 with Alaska Naturals PH down. I added peat moss and worm castings to the pot. It’s a five gallon pot. Outdoor during the day and in a mini plastic greenhouse at night with a blanket over to keep her warmer and also to keep the dew from causing mold & bud rot.

It was an experiment to see if I could get another outdoor grow in before outdoor conditions won’t work for cannabis in my area. People usually finish their outdoor in my area between late September and October. Some go into early December. But optimal outdoor weather for growing cannabis is harvest by October full moon. If the timeline had been true for my plant she would have been done October full moon.

So anyways I think that the stress of PH locking out nutrients made my plant get this way. Because she went into flower on time but then the pistols stopped developing and this is what happened. I think it was a reveg but not complete, it’s like my plant grew up into a little dwarf.

Throughout my research I have seen some auto flower grow journals/diaries with those same 3-finger leaves and they filled in and finished up fine. I am just going to ride it out and I am sure that my harvest amount is reduced. But I don’t care so much about that I just love gardening period.

If anyone has anything helpful to add please chime in

Thanks

I received some great advice about why my plant is doing this weird flowering without hairs.........
The decline started as the daylight became less and less....my plant needs more sunshine!

Hi there. I'm here to ask for help. I am a 36y old Brazilian who have epilepsy. Here in Brazil we can find sativas and indicas(CDB rich), but as I live in an apartment, the best option 4 me, is to plant auto indica/ruderalis. And as this topic is almost all about ruderalis, I think maybe it's the best place to ask: can anyone send me some wild ruderalis seeds? I pay for it.
