Flush in DWC, how did my water go from 150 to 1200 ppm?

Second harvest with a DWC setup and I'm not sure what I'm doing.

Week 8 and one of my plants is looking close to finished so I started flushing 7 days again.

Last night, drained the bucket and ppm was 1200 but I Never fed over 800ppm. Filled the bucket with tap water (150 ppm from the tap) and tested about 12 hours later at 400ppm.

So is the plant pushing out all the nutrients? Where is this ppm coming from?

Can I or should I change the water more often to keep ppm as low as possible in the bucket?

Thanks y'all!

Yes, it's the buildup of the nutes in your root system that are being released by your flushing.
As far as flushing more often, that depends on how your plants look.
I think that a PPM of 1200 is OK, and your plants probably look great, right?
I am a heavy feeder, like at 6 weeks I'm at 1400, and then I taper down to 1000 PPM at finish
I've never had a burn problem, but a lot of people think my PPM is too high, but my plants seem to like it, so I stick with it.
Have fun with your harvest, and enjoy the smoke:)

Do you think it will continue? Or will the poop eventually wash off?

The microbes are converting some of the fertilizer for plant uptake. Protecting the roots from other microbes. As with soil being a living universe. Hydroponic is a living solution.

The poop is cut down with the regular changing of the res water. You can't stop the microbes from doing their thing.

couple pics of the plant in question, most of the leaves are showing nasty spots but no real color fade yet

God dammit! This is why I hate you. You give horrible and incorrect advice all the time. You act like a know it all, but every time you post you show how stupid you actually are.

Hydroponics isn't a "living solution"! How do you know if he is running a sterile reservoir or not? You don't because you didn't ask and he didn't say. You're just talking out of your ass like always. There is no fucking way microbes will make your reservoir jump from 150ppm to 1200ppm.

@Jimdamick gave to correct answer and then you still had to post some bullshit ass answer.

Awww. If you mattered. I'd care. Instead of attacking other members with your diatribe opinion. Produce your own explanation about this gentleman's issue. Try helping people out for a change. Giving advice based on research and not your feelings.

Stfu I did help by pointing out that you're full of shit. I wouldn't want the op to listen to your dumb ass advice and think it's correct. Then he would go around repeating your shit and look just as stupid as you. I'm trying to save him from that.

I call that the best kind of help!

Again. Produce an explanation. Show him how incorrect I am. For the sake of helping this person. Do something constructive.

I did that in my first reply you illiterate bastard. I said @Jimdamick was correct in his response. It's salt build up in the root system/medium. And yes, even if it's hydroton, salts will still build up on the clay pebbles. It's why you should wash/rinse them after ever harvest.

Cmon man, get your shit together.

Remember plants also exudes things out through their roots. Also if there were salts built up, they will dissolve in the new water and push up PPM.
A good way of making an organic microbe tea is to rinse off the roots of a bunch of weeds you pulled in a bucket. That foamy water you get is caused by exudates.

Now we're back on track. The OP might be the next winner of the cannabis cup. As for getting stuff together. The various opinions around this place balance out.
