Impressive huh? At least my stuff isn't a carbon copy of about 1000 other people before me, like I'm guessing probably you and Johnny boy. You guys discuss me a lot more than I discuss you, that's for sure. This post is all of it. Probably because you guys never posted anything worth mentioning that I can recall. I invented the 14w Super Square Grow Light. What have you invented lately?

The account you are posting from right now is a sock account, your original account got ridiculed so you started another one so you could act like you know something.

You probably got a dozen more so you got someone to agree with you.
i was on here as BOBBY_G for about a year before i started CobKits (the business) 8/1/16

was gonna keep BOBBY_G for personal use and have CobKits user usable as a business resource for myself or anybody working for me to answer questions

i had both accts for less than a week before sunni told me thats not allowed

BOBBY_Gs last post was over a year ago on 8/7/16

Let me spell it out for you cause i know you are dumb

@CobKits is @BOBBY_G
yup and have never once denied it. you think people call me "Cobby" is a coincidence?

in your defense Yoda its good to see you get something right for once

and that ancient post by greengenes you dug up is hilarious in its own right as he 'socked' between his acct and tags420 for quite a long time

there are people here to share information and learn
and there are people who are here to start shit and try to feel important

how many users are ignoring you i wonder? i wouldnt have seen your post had abiqua not quoted it

Here's my veg chamber, kind of makeshift but works well enough. It's 36"x18"x20" high. The lights are 60w replacement LEDs, 8.5w draw. Guess I should put more mylar on that top part, just didn't get around to it, had to plug a light hole with that cardboard for now. Anyway, the tops are very healthy but there is some lower leaf drop, but the canopies are pretty much closed over so not surprising. I was using 14w bulbs before but too much bleaching so had to dowsnsize to the 8.5s. That's two of the three lights there. So we're talking a little over 50w /sq m.

I guess the thing with the low wattage is shallow penetration. It was better with the 14w bulbs but as I said, hard on the tops. I find 4 plants per light works well. I mounted the lights through holes so only the 1/2" of diffuser is inside the chamber and there's some air space around it for air to chimney through and cool them somewhat. I needed all the vertical space I could get and mounting them inside ate up too much and was also too hot in there. Those plants are 12" from pot to top, ready to flower. Actually I give them the first week of flowering right in that chamber, keeps them manageably small and makes a 10 week flower period possible in a perpetual with 3 larger chambers at 3 week intervals.

Strip lighting would be better in there I think.
Here's 420w vegging my 5'x10.5'. One big advantage over HPS & T-5.image.jpg

Yeah but then you gotta buy drivers and pay for shipping. These bulbs have builtin drivers and are widely available in stores, and cost less on top of that. But if a person were inclined to buy strips they would indeed work well for short chambers like that.

cant you go any taller?

would do so much better if you made it 40" high, swapped in the 14W bulbs, and kept 12-16" off the tops

thats gold!!

@BobCajun thanks man, i had NO IDEA i was drying bud wrong - you life saver. (:
Live and learn. You were doing it the slow as molasses way. And the not get any more potent way. The way I do it, the potency gets boosted quite substantially. But keep doing it your way. My way actually requires some brains so a little out of your league I'm afraid. Stick to chop, hang wait. More your speed.

That's the problem isn't it, limited space, in my case, extremely limited. But they do work better with more headroom. My first flowering chamber, where they go after the first week of flowering in the short chamber, is more like 4 feet tall. The short one is on top of that, such is my space limitation. But that 4' one has 10 of the 14w bulbs, so more total light wattage, like a normal 30w or so per sq ft. They grow nice in there for weeks 2-4, then moved to even higher chambers for the final 6 weeks, with HPS and LED mixture now, though all COB before, until they started giving out, COBs and drivers both. I could put the one good driver together with the one good COB array and have one good COB setup, just decided to try the HPS/LED bulb combo and see how it does.

BTW they will grow right up into the 14w bulbs if I don't top the stretchier ones, but it doesn't cause harm unless they actually touch them, in which case that part will brown. Actually I'd like to put all LED bulbs in the other higher chambers too, like 18 of the 14w ones in the 3'x1.5' area, 3 the short way and 6 the long way, 252w total, but it takes a lot of messing around wiring up sockets and stuff. I will eventually though.

But keep doing it your way
No way, José!

Lesson learnt.

I did have about 4lb hang drying (what an idiot) but i've literally just pulled it all down and microwaved half of it. Granted, i think that maybe 4 mins on 1000w MAY have been a touch too much, but HOLY SHIT is this weed now the Dankest of Dank, the Cheesiest of Cheese, the Smelliest of Smells, the...you get the point.

Ive got Holland AND Jamaica ringing me up, they want their HIGH GRADE back- phone is off the hook, fam.

Im going to nuke the rest but only 3 minutes this time cos i is clever, innit.

Thanks again, love as always -

You do realize that all you are doing is cooking the terpenes out of your weed and making it taste like shit?

Terpenes work in tandem with cannabinoids so it is unlikely that you are somehow increasing potency by removing the volatile oils that actually increase potency. Maybe you are trying to decarb it so you can eat your little brown nugs instead of smoke them?

This is a public forum, someone could accidentally follow your lead and ruin their crop!

And the not get any more potent way. The way I do it, the potency gets boosted quite substantially.
