The Truth About Flushing

Some of the best lines out there drop the pH. I wish they could fix that. Problem is, it effects the quality of the product....

If adjusting pH is an issue, there's always that AN shit...."I just put it in and I don't have to pH anything. It's wonderful."
Seriously though, There are lines that don't - Hesi comes to mind....

Yet folks simply wish for a single simple solution....... Nutrient makers - go figure

So are you doing hydro John?
I found a few that work well with my water but still add 35 ml per 100 liters of down to get it to stabilize at 5.7 and not climb up the next day. But there was a lot of trial and error. The DG took me off guard as I've had an issue with getting ph down, it made it plummet lol. I bought one bottle of ph perfect and still could not stop myself from adjusting lol.

I have used 400 mh 600 and 400 hps and fluorescent to veg.

I obviously got beefier plants in a shorter time with hid.

I have no problem with the results of t-5. Just that they are slow and soft in intensity and I want more plant in a shorter time. I need 8 weeks under the t-5 to keep up my average and only 5-6 with mh.

I have high expectations for the ceramic mh in the 3x3.

I run a perpetual planting and harvesting every week or two.
I tried using my 600 MH for vegging a couple of times but honestly did not see a huge improvement over the T5's :(. I only veg for 21 days typically so maybe a longer veg would be different or it could be me lol.

IMG_4053.JPG March 29, IMG_4159.JPG April 19, IMG_4231.JPG April 29, I thought I was doing ok vegging under T5's :(. I'll never run HID to veg as it's just too god damn expensive for power but yes LED would work cost wise if it's all true

Here's a 25 day veg for me under 400 watts of MH from rooted cutting.DSCN0734.JPG

Not Knocking on you. T-5's have a place in your grow. Just how many watts are you running in your veg fixture? A 8 bulb t5 uses pretty much the same wattage as a 400 MH.
4 so 216 I'll check out a couple of my last clone veg timelines and compare. Those are. seed starts so that's a bit of a difference as well.

I have found easier to manage plants and higher potency vegging at least to maturity. Longer the better really but I can only go 6 weeks before they will likely outgrow their space in flower.

I can only veg for 21 days without scrogging with a lot of strains or they get into the lights with my setup (7' ceiling). I'm going to revamp my lab in the fall and fix all of the things that are defficient. It's become apparent that I will have better control and yield with individual containers but still using the same style of grow which provides a low maintenance, high growth setup. And yes, perhaps new lights lol.

I am flowering under a 6.5' ceiling. I bend and tie down or top all plants that will be over 30" tall over their 3 gal pots.

I figure 2' of good bud growth into the canopy with 600 watt hid's. I keep the light at least 18" over the canopy.

And I have learned to use more balanced lighting which seems to reduce stretch and also proper potassium levels going into transition will help with thicker stalks and less stretch as well.

(And I mean not over or under fertilizing with a base Grow bottle only in my case). Just have to make sure it's available when the plant needs it.

I barely need support stakes anymore. Even the clones. But it takes a bit more veg time.

No, full bore at 825 watts. It can get sketchy sometimes right under the light but i move the tallest to the perimeter. New plants in the flower room goes directly under the lights while the one further in flower get moved to the perimeter each successive rotation with a 3 week rotation for my 9 week strains. I do get thrown off a bit when I run my 10-11 week haze strains.
Day 30 from flip.

damn bro, those things are really tall, might wanna try to tie those down next time for some height control, happy toking
I like trees, maybe it comes from years of outdoor growing but i like big plants= big harvest. None of those plants spent over 30 days in veg.

Who's to say he wouldn't still have won if he didn't flush his plants?

Saying what you said is not definitive proof of anything.
You want to play hypothetical? NO dice..

The point which you missed was to demonstrate someone who flushed walked away from the harvest with quality. Which is counter to some who offer that those who flush are throwing away their crop.
