I know this is not much LED related, but it might give some of you some new ideas.
I just renovated my nutrient room! now I have a massive 2 layer shelf (2 x 6ft layers) for vegging/clones etc. with a curtain (IKEA).
I have my porn PC, and a stack of IKEA shelves. Other additions not in the image,
- Motion sensors outside the doors, with a piezo buzzer/light alert.
- Limit switch on the door to de-activate veg Light (light leaks when door is open, as this is my garage).
- Timers all re-located onto the ceiling,

All this is done to shave a few weeks off my veg time in my main flower room.

Needs a massive cleanup though...

Metal shelves, brick wall. The IKEA brand is ALGOT. They're only 18cm-20cm deep.
They made a pricing error so I ended up paying about $180US for the lot!

In saying this, my veg shelf was only possible thanks to LEDs because you really don't wanna hang mag ballasts off the wall. Lol

So I picked up 2 teen LPM clones today from Harborside medical here in Oakland today. It's the same place I got my sherbet clones from, which are LOVING my 3 300watt viparspectra leds in a 4x4x6.5 ipower grow tent. All of my cookies seedling are now all vegging beautifully. I add a Lightimetunnel Dimmable 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum UV IR Lamp Indoor Plant Growth Veg Flowering light for a little extra help. I will have another oscillating fan tomorrow also well. I am so impressed with all the new growth this week.

seems like a huge tripping hazzard having all those electronics on the floor lol.you could do a thread on how you wired all that stuff together to make it work and what its all for.very clean install, how long are your lamp leads and what size wire did you use to get them there ?

Those pics still show the room in its messy state. LoL
I'm going to be adding fans to all my drivers because they are just way too hot! (Fans are so damn expensive for Ball bearing ones)
Also,
Thanks to a good friend from the states, I got 4 quantum boards.
Build isn't elaborate as some on here but i needed low profile :D

Hey,
I got 24 drivers on the wall split into two timers right now. So exactly 12 turn on at the same split second.
It's running 6mm2 cable with a 32a breaker.
Just remember though, 6mm2 cable can handle 46a ( according to some uk chart I just Googled), the breaker is to protect the cable thus choose your breaker according to the cable!!!

Edit: Just remembered, I also have 15a overload breakers going to each 6 bank of drivers to protect the orange 1.5mm cable

Thanks for the reply.the edit is another reason you should do a thread or even better video on how you set all that gear up.im sure theres tons of guys like me here that would love to see how you did it and drool over the tech side of your grow :)
Im using 6ga wire and 50 amp breakers for the main runs but in veg i decided to go with #10 wire and 30 amp breakers, shorter runs will less draw.im interested in how you double protected with the 15 amp fuses.i wouldnt mind doin that for each group of 4 drivers.i plan to have all my meanwells grouped together in sets of 4 or 5 drivers.
