Whats really messed up in the world?

it will also take a large group of peopel who don't appear to be stoner's.. nobody takes anybody serious thats wearing a bob markley t-shirt and has dreads in his head.. all they can think is "wow, he chose that shirt, those jeans, those flipflops and that hair.. he clearly doesnt make good decisions... next please".. everyone should appear clean shaven, clean cut and well educated.. able to speak clearly and be well prepared.. as they say, it's 70 percent of how you look, 20 percent of how you present it, and only 10 percent of what you say.. so if you come in and can present the millions of smoker's that don;t look like hippies, gangster's, rastas, or good oleboy farmers.. then you would have a shot.. but you would have to orginize it, control it and present it as a professional with everyone...

we are bacteria slowly eating away at out host, soon itll be gone, so the only way for the earth to keep spinning until its natural end, is for us to be extinct, its our nature we cannot live in peace, hate greed and power run the world, and will till we dont have one to run, either move out of mainstream society like i plan to, or accept it and live with it in your everyday live. go turn on tv and take a second to realize what youre watching, youll laugh, its kinda hypocritical cause im on the internet, the most corrupting and biased source of information and shit ever, cause humans invented it and will forever have control, and its focused on those 3 great values

these run the world and drives humans to be what we exist to be, i just cant wait to find out whats after this life, cause there couldnt be anything worse or more depressing and tribulating than this life

and as for wars and famine, stop crying about them cause if none of those things exist, youd be living with 1000 other people in a 100 sq foot radius and 19 billion people alive today, you want that?

whats the most logical answer for those in power (create a bomb that only kills human life or w/e and leave the environment perfect,and drop it on the other side of the world, and then go over and start over like africa, or russia as they are not important at all in the continuation of "civilized" life here on earth... shhhh they might read this), we have countriess on PURPOSEFUL population managing and deficates and still are losing the fight.

create massive earthquakes, eruptions and black holes all throughout our earth, if it doesnt just make it explode or implode, we dont know? and guess what were still gonna keep it there? know whay? we are humans and we NEED to, we cant stop our advancement, even if it kills us, we are the farthest thing from simple that exists

I would say that FEAR is a predication of all three of those things, it by far supersedes them and is way more accurate a depiction of our motivations

i've wanted to set up my own political party for a while.

Get rid of immigration laws. No more foreign people working in our country.
Disconnect from the EU.
GIVE people jobs, not tell them theres a job, GIVE them the job.
If they don't work... Prison, where they will work, making cars or something.

Oh and bringing back National services. Sort out those fucking gobby shites.

You used the Bible as a reference... and the biggest ideal that comes from the Bible is free will, and the ability of people to choose. According to the Bible an entity (or the devil) puts sinning opportunity in front of us, and we base our decisions off of what we believe from there. But back to my main point... free choice! As people, we have the choice to do this or do that, and I believe it comes down to Nature vs. Nurture... in the fact that we are born a certain way, and then the environment helps molds us after that to who we become after that: so traditions and thought patterns that are taught and passed down to the next generation on large scales, I would say are such a huge factor in what we turn out like, that if we change certain aspects of them, we will change the overall product of the person, and they will act accordingly...

very true, somethingi left out of the equation a government that keeps its people in fear, and not in the know as it is quite obvious ours and every other government in the world does, cause they feel more appropriate to handle the truth than us, if we live in fear and continuously have things to be scared of (aids, war, disease, w/e another 9/11 like attack by the people in power in that country, no mean to come off rude or w/e im just being real, i lost someone that day, so plz dont come off at me no offense to anyone to doesnt believe that but do some 'search without youre bias and youll see the truth) then theres no opportunity for us to see thru the bullshit, "rise as one and SLAY them" once said by the great Lewis Black so we are kept in a continuous check, and i dont think western society will ever get themselves out.

which is so damn sad cause our race could have thrived so much better in so many better ways if we could just give up our infliction of greed and shit
 
Meaning there is hope! and its not like all people are bad and do no good in life... I know I do plenty of good, and as little bad as possible. It all comes down to the parents of children, and how children are raised to believe and act.
 
I would say that the government lives in fear of losing power... and that fear goes much deeper than just terrorists and diseases... how about: the fear of not having the money to provide for yourself and your family, so we act out of fear in greed to obtain money, and hate to those that would keep us from it, so we go to work to earn the money, or go steal it, because we are afraid that if we don't have it, we won't be able to survive, and at the same time are distracted from doing much of anything about other issues in life, such as disease and terrorism.

you are right. and i never meant to inflict the bible as absolute truth, because it itself is a metaphor and a story passed throughout human fliters, which involve bias
but thats exactly what im trying to say also, is that we have continuously let these false values and morals and rules develope for so long that any thought of a majority of us realizing this anytime soon is a false hope, and a sad conclusion to realize, you can change the few, but the many will destroy you.
 
this mans is spitting real shit right here, i fully agree with what you are saying, its jsut the difference is, you have alot more hope in it happening the way it should than i do, but i guess to live without hope is to hope to live so i guess i better add some hope in my mind

but yea these last few posts is some deep truth right here, we gotta raise our children right in order to hope for the human races future

Though I am also under the impression that the Bible's purpose is no longer being interpreted correctly and that it is being analyzed too narrowly, and that its language and terminology and writing styles is in need of updating or recreating, because people just don't seem to get it anymore (for a long ass time too)."
 
ill say it again, thats exactly how you gotta view it, its in relation to what we can interpret, and the only way to understand its full extent is to view it from many different perspectives and other ish like that, im crazy high and this spliff is gettin to me so ima stop typing but yea what loadeddragon said lol
 
uhh the raising your kids part is a page or so back... I have been talking about it throughout the entire thread I think.... scratches head.... where the hell did the bible talk come from, oh well.....
 
What I feel is really messed up in the world today, where did all the local shops go? You know the mom & pop, family run stores. Why are we basically forced to get our supplies at these large stores now?. I want to support my local economy, not the USA's, (sorry no offence to any americans here) but my choices are very slim. Even 10 years ago was so much different. There were locally owned grocery stores, hardware stores, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacies etc. Now it is all Walmart, Home Depot and other large chain companies buying out or squeezing out the private local business owners.
Another thing that bothers me about these large stores, Walmart in particular is the mass marketing going on in there. They set up the deals all over the place to make you think you need it all cause it is on sale. They advertise for kids, ie: Hannah Montana and Disney etc, they make your kids really want the stuff. You can't get away from that either. It is in schools, t.v., internet, magazines, radio, billboards, flyers you name it. That is what I think is messed up in this world today, sorry for rambling, a wee bit baked this evening. :mrgreen::peace:

Because we, the consumer killed them. Case in point...

A few years ago we had a local pet shop. They've been in business for years. Then a Petco opened up a couple of miles away. The local shops business plummeted to a rock. They closed their doors not but 2 months after the Petco opened. So much for customer loyalty.
