Received cree 3590 with no bin info packed in bubble wrap

Got some 3590s the other day from a well known US based supplier. 8 3590 3500k. They were well packed in bubble wrap. Other than the sellers word that these are "cd" bin how the heck am I to tell? There isn't any marking on the actual until itself other than b3590n. For all I know these could be 90 cri "bb" bin...

check your invoice. it has to state the serial number bin etc and you can go from there. other than thqat you have tyo have faith ion whom you buy from. Cree is still a better buy than a lesser priced chip, you still get what you pay for.

you'll be happy with them, theyre fine chips, theyre just a little spendy. plants wont care what the brand is but they will love all the extra photons compared to whatever you were using before

I wouldn't say its a terrible choice, just that the truth is in 2017 there are cheaper options available for a similar/better level of quality... Atleast you know for the future...

Dont get mad at others for not doing more research before purchasing parts lol. Those chips should perform just fine regardless of whether or not you overpaid for the performance you will get.
