But still dont know which type of led should i take, is the COB the best thing i can get, or those one with 3w chips?

lots of good stuff going on. i personally think the CLW is going the wrong direction, for the same reason i replaced SS880 with 4 x SS220 for better coverage

the flux those osrams put off is just too much, you need a fair amount of height when you slap em all together in one spot like that.

i wonder if theyre using the 120 deg osram hortis in the new ones

Of course you can.......ul/etl is still only lumigrow that i know of

Plc will do it custom in their approved fixture.
I'm on the fence about 400+ volt. I think once we get to full federal legalization you'll see big pharma take over and it will be just like tobacco. It will be outsourced South of the border..... It will eventually be rec on the federal level and then you'll have the Budweiser's of Bud and then the connoisseur craft companies. Hope I'm wrong and it goes straight off the schedule list but when money is involved you can bet that opportunity isn't going to pass through unimpeded.

yeah that thing looks wicked! do you know which chips they are? i couldnt see it anywhere?
I believe the newest version of the Samsung SMDs for the whites and those classy Philips discretes for the hyper reds, reds, blues and possibly the UVAs...

384 diodes...of mainly whites that makes a nice peachy/pink output colour...BAM!

Up until now, at least...

if we could only get people to understand 'oligarch' includes dems AND repubs= 2 sides of the same dirty coin. We might never know what trump is capable of as he could only choose his cabinet from among those already compromised... some will say he was already part of it. We live in interesting times

Which diods are you using for 240w and 100w horizon?

Not sure. They are custom made to achieve the highest lux/par possible. From what I here, most of these type diodes are 80+ CRI. these are custom 70 CRI which allows for the most possible efficiency. They are ran @ 20% their load capacity & produce 160 LPW. It's the ideal power consumption, longevity & heat management output. The fully engulfed plant light is the trick here.
That's all I really know about them.
If you're interested in production efficiency I can tell you this, The grow before last I pulled 2#'s w/ 4 plants in the original 600w system in the prototype 32" tall unit (documented here) n they've only gotten better. That was from a 32"x4' area. Nice bud too!
