Tri-light, veg + flower on a circular light mover, could be run on a single 300 watt driver at 1.4a, 12" on center itd be about about as full spectrum you can get from any setup imho, def my next light build if i can figure out how to hang it without tangling the power cord
Light movers? Lol please! The whole point of multiple light sources is improved distribution. Just use more COB LED chips.

Spray for what? General nutes, ipm, ?????

Why do you want a foliar spray?
I mean, I just picked up kelp for minimizing shock. (cus I shocked the shit out of them during pot transfer) But I've heard some good things and some snake oil things about foliar sprays and would love to get a weigh in from experienced folks.

I would spray my hot peppers with a light epsom salt-water mist every few days. Not sure how it would come into play with mj,

Good luck. Some people will ruin it for all the others.
Already met with callme mom- and have another in the area- perhaps a state map pinpointing( within 3 miles) members would help setup meet& greet for that area(within 25 miles, etc.) then at some point we gather as a group- its been illegal for so long that its hard to wrap your head around it, and I was an original proponent for that-plus, we all have lives and trying to get on same page is a bitch

I tried to organize a get together on the forums here and was accused of being a cop by a well known member. Guess legal state doesn't mean people are going to stop being an ass about it. I'm done. Hope you guys have fun.

Legal state doesn't make it entirely legal. That's the main problem.

Then you have the black market and/or criminal aspect to keep in mind.

While I'm all for meeting up with anyone locally to swap seeds, buds, whatever, caution and discretion will be practiced with anything I do involving herb. All legalization did for me was make so I don't have to hide shit if a cop knocks on my door and possibly save me a few bucks after a grow or two. At the rate I'm spending on seeds and my closet, a top shelf oz delivered every 2 weeks would likely be cheaper. lol

Guess I don't have enough of the pre legalization paranoia. I forget the black market people are not always the nicest. If I ever get a grow right, a legal maximum harvest would last me a year. Didn't think anyone would care about busting me for that.

No one that wanted to get a group going talked about having more than what the law allows either. The actual place and time would have had to be private.

Probably trust my security system too much as well. Better I just lurk. Thanks for the help.

The journey so far ... (Other newbies may find this helpful if they've survived the first 65 pages)
Glad I decided to do 2x4x5 veg tent instead of jumping right into a larger model. I think it's finally under control ... just added a variable speed 4" fan and filter yesterday ... suddenly the basement is odor free again ... but it sounds like there's a 747 revving in the corner even at low speed. The fan's screwed to a plywood board on the top of the tent, but there's no way I could have reasonably put it inside.
Tent related product reviews so far
Accurite temp/humistats are bloody awful ... a fact that may escape you if you only have 1
If you're a DIYer I'll save you some time ... you can't find solid core #18 wire for you lights locally ... go right to Amazon.
Vivosun tents are a good inexpensive product for veg but you'll go broke on duct tape for flower. Glad I experimented, now I need to find something else for the 5x5 ... possibly the Mars .... Gorilla is just out of the budget until several successful grows or one of you would like to give me a late 70th birthday present.
Vivosun 4" fan/filter/duct kit works like a charm even on low, but I wouldn't want it in the living area. Can't imagine what the 6" will sound like, although I may be able to put it inside in the 5x5.
COB and Quantum board fixtures don't put out much heat at lower wattage if you're counting on them to keep things warm.
There are almost as many nutrient manufacturers as there are strains to grow and they all claim to be the best so caveat emptor. Do your research.
RO and distilled water still need to be ph checked and adjusted before use.
When you transplant 5 plants in a 2x4 space from 1 gal pots to 3 gal pots it changes the whole climate issue and you have to get all run go keep an eye on it crazy again for a few days until you see how things are working (I may be projecting here)
Too much of anything is just as bad as too little ... light, water, nutrients, humidity, temperature .....
Daily misting seems to make plants happy. Just knock off any big water drops so the lights don't burn the leaves.
They call this plant a weed but it seems pretty finicky about almost everything so be prepared to experience horticultural OCD.
Sometimes after obsessing over a potential problem, researching things on every forum you can find, comparing your plant to all the leaf deficiency charts, watching youtube videos, and seeing if there's a way to blame the Trump administration (my personal favorite) ... you have to accept the shit sometimes just happens and they'll probably get over it.
And lastly (for now) it's REALLY HARD to know you've got to wait another 2 - 3 months to find out if you did it right
Great post, thank you! I went crazy as a newbie and got so many things I didn't need, or as I got into it changed my mind. I think i have over 100$ worth the various watts and kelvins CFL'S sitting here I dont need, doh! I will never need another light bulb in my house again. And lets not forget my 5 foot bag of perlite. The tent was the best investment I made. However, I wish it were more stealth. Its black and bright purple and screams "grow cabinet over here!" It is also right next to bed and has a 6" fan. yep, sounds like I am sleeping on a runway. I refuse to turn the damn thing on until my plant starts to smell.

Anyone need some CFL's or Perlite? :-)

That's great though! I sleep with a noise machine so every noise in the house or it doesn't wake me up.
I close the door on my grow room at night because my vsun tent has more holes than a spaghetti strainer.

To sleep, I love my Echo Dot. I just say "Alexa, play pure white noise". She plays it for an hour or two. Plenty of time to fall asleep.
