Looking pretty good sponge. I wince though when I see your pics. Reflective walls are a must if you're serious about your grow. Other than that, keep on truckin'!
Never ran a scrog. I LST, TOP, FIM, HST, and keep my girls bushy. I do whatever it takes to keep my canopy as even as possible. Like scrog, without the screen.GrBl..jpg

Thanks Medi. Mylar will definitely be on the agenda for the next grow, maybe for the last month of this flower. Trying to decide exactly how I want to do my next flower. Going to try some NL#5 x Haze.

What strain do you have there? How far into flower are you? looking good. I'm going to have my hands full if I can get those results on all these tops lol.

I'll post some more pictures in another week which will be 30 days into flower. This strain is supposed to be done in 60 days.

Griselda Blanco (tr seeds). She just started wk6. She is my first all COB flower plant. Since she takes so long(10+wk), she wont be the first one out the tent.

Interesting. I had never heard of that name before, so of course I had to look it up. I watch documentaries all that time so I looked one up on Griselda. I'm surprised I'd never heard of her until now.

If you did a thread on the COB build I'd love to look through. I'm debating between adding another 600 and building something like a long LED setup. Thing is I have about 4' of usable depth but about 7-8' of usable width. With six plants as big as the ones i have, I can fit 4 under one 600 comfortably. The other two I've had to transfer my veg cabinet 150 watt t5 over to supplement.

With good light, adequate penetration, Mylar walls/floor/etc I'm confident I can get 8 plants the size I have now in there.

Yes, for proper canopy control, I start by Lst, tying down the main cola. If it continues to grow taller, but not bushy, to my taste, I will Fim the uppermost top. Or I will top it, depending on the structure of the plant. I thin as necessary, like light defol. of fan leaves. Basically I try for each plant to have a minimum of 6 tops growing in a bowl like structure. Especially with COBs. Each plant is like a photon bowl getting filled with light.
Nice even canopy

Not sure if you were talking to me or Medi lol. Anyway you got his answer, for me I topped one time, did minimal pruning up to the point where the branches bent out to the edge of the buckets and up. No fim for me.

Had another small setback with the power going out for 12 hours during lights on. Also I misdiagnosed a little bit when I believe they were crying for food. Things seem to be steady now @ 2tsp/gallon of Floronova Bloom

Hoping to pick up a little bulkiness on these colas over the next week.
