100a panel you have a little room to expand. I would see if it is possible to upgrade to 200a if not see what breakers can be combined. You can also get the mini double breakers its the size of a regular breaker but you can connect 2 110 loads to it. Move a few breakers around to balance the load. Then I would do 2 different sub panels 1 for veg say 30a or 40a and 1 for flower 50a-70a

I know here is some diy for cob by growmau but does anyone know of any manufacturer that produce quality cob lights? I don't have time to diy the cobs

So I notice the panel is rated for 150amp. Would it be possible the place has 150a? Or is it pretty typical for 100a unit to use 150a panel box?

Honestly I would get the breakers I was talking about and double up a few of those 20a. Then you will have room to add the 2 subpanels balancing the load is easy make sure there is close to equal amount on each side.
There is in no order

prob a few more i'm not thinking of right now.

So I found out a couple of things. Building has 8 suites and some unit has 200a as they around two story's. I got electrical guy coming tomorrow to see if they can upgrade the panel in my suite to 200a.

They think it's doable since other suites has 200a

So I'm about to buy equipment and with this tent setup should I go with air cooled hoods or open?

Also if I run ac I think it might be cheaper to get those dual hose portable ac with would be 12-14k btu rather than a mini splits.

Just read the first post...your air conditioning is SERIOUSLY LACKING. Get a mini split or 2. If your gonna play...you got to pay. No way around it..especially with 10000 watts. Believe me....ive tried. Even with the best designed and set up air cooled hoods. ..with that much wattage...a.c. (And the correct a.c.) is an absolute MUST. Cheap dual hose mom and pop home depot a.c. units arent gonna cut it. Get the right tools for the job or you will regret it (usually at mid flower - been there done that) and shit canning and redoing what you already did sucks big time and drains the wallet more than dropping the coin and doing things right the first tjme.

To be honest..and no disrespect meant at all...i can tell from your posts that your ambition outweighs your readyness and talent. Air cooling the hoods and using tents and dual hose portables? Nope. The pros dont air cool (at least most). They cool a room (a well built one - not a tent- hobbyist level) with industrial grade mini splits and commercial grade dehueys. I know you gotta start somewhere but you better do some research on how the pros really set shit off or your gonna be a dog chasing an very expensive tail. Believe what i say. Iam trying to help.

Hi

Can you tell me the advantage of 220v vs 110v? I was told the place is 3 phase power but I am not even sure what that means. I will need to bring in my electrician this friday when i get the spot.
Like i.said....you better know all of this 110 vs 220 amd what.is 3 phase warehouse wiring stuff...WAY before you jump in the pool. And i wouldnt bother with a tent with 10,000 frikin watts thats for damn sure. In a warehouse or not.

Thanks for all the feed back. At this point im just gonna start with 2 10x10 gorilla tents and will be running LED for better heating.

Any suggest on good quality LED lights that would fit my tents needs? Ill be having two 8x4 trays in each tents.

Looking forward to seeing ChilLED lights in action, if Mau5 likes them they have to be good.
Good luck with your venture.

does anyone know if I will need a light controler for these 315w CMH units? I plan to run 6 of these in 1 tent of 10x10

from hydro farm /PHR31503KT

I would suggest it makes it easier to control them all at the same time Since you would be running 2 tents have a look at http://www.titancontrols.net/shop/bybrand/TITAN/titan-controls-helios-18-12-light-240v-controller-with-dual-trigger-cords_29_000053
Diy version is easy to make if you have electrical skills.

ChilLED lights came with controller.

So my electrical guy check out the power and 100amps 3 phase is all I got. He will balance everything out for me so I it looks like I can do up to four tents as followed

Tent #1 6x450w ChilLED @ 220v, fans, pumps, ect
Tent #2 6x315w CMH hydrofarm @ 220v ,fans, pumps, ect

Tent#3 4x1000w HPS aircooled @220v with 14k btu portable AC, fans, pumps, ect
Tent#4 4x1000w HPS aircooled @220v with 14k btu portable AC, fans, pumps, ect

I might just go with #3 & #4 running same setup as #2. as I didn't calculate a veg tent yet. what ya think?/ any suggestion will help.

Chilled led has a controller to buy yes they do not come with one. That controller is only good for the chilled leds
You will still need a controller for the hps and cmh.
the 4 hps will need more than 14k btu of ac you will need 24k btu if they are open hoods if they are vented you will need to vent outside otherwise you are heating the room you are venting to. Each 1000w hood will raise the ambient temp 20 degrees
I would think its a lot easier to ditch the tents and build a room out and set it up. Will be cheaper in the long run and less equipment to buy.
