if I make an organic soil does that eliminate the need to feed during veg?
Any harm in also foliar feeding with said organic soil?

I don't feed during veg unless I see a need to. Same answer for foliar.

"organic soil" is subjective. Only you will know you brand of quality organic feeding. when my veggers are hungry they tell me.
foliar feeding causes harm when mixed incorrectly, used in an uncontrolled room(RH, air flow, mold temps, etc) where mold is invited. Its a nice way to move soil vegging along quicker, but not necessary if the soil is fed and plants are healthy.

What do you mean by "organic"? Mixing and making your own soil with homemade compost or are you taking organic amendments and mixing with bagged dirt? If your using your own compost/soil mix then it would depend on what you mixed in with the compost. If your adding amendments and then cooking the soil, then it might be easier to answer the question. I also feel foliar is good but unnecessary.

Well I used 50/50 FF Happy frog and sunshine mix #4 with Build a soil Craft Blend and I kind of Burnt my plants on my first grow. I think the FF has a pretty good amount of nutrients so be careful how much amendment you mix. IMO.

The so-called benefits of foliar feeding is largely a myth. It should really only be used to get nutrients into a plant when its having issues pulling nutes through the root system.
