Honestly, I was reminded of the old legend "Cast Piss" (a local invention IIRC)

== "a light sour"

I do recall getting a Sativa leaning pheno that was quite strong.

JD

P.S. I got a small bottle of Monterey "Take Down Garden Spray" from the Hydro
shop (treated myself to a new bale of Pro-Mix). This stuff is refined oil + pyritherins
and it states on the label that it kills mites and their eggs.
Take down works. I only use it in veg. Never stop spraying. At least once every two weeks as maintenance. I have been using labs on the flowering girls and gonna whip up some pepper spray to have on hand too. Once it warms up they really explode if you haven't kept up on them. I've been bug free using this strategy for over a year now.

This is an excerpt from BB desrciption

Both phenos have nice dark leaves with the Lemon pheno growing slightly smaller buds and the Fusty being a bit more robust in its architecture. Heavy trichome production as you would imagine with the genetics and, while the Lemon takes you up to a nice level, the Fusty pheno brings you down to couch level, so its good for rainy days and cups of hot chocolate.

Sounds like Sat pheno is lemon, and indica pheno is "Fusty" cat piss?

I plan on cooking off habaneros w a whole host of other herbs pests dislike. Then some essential oil and soap mixed in should be fairly deadly
Plants dont get burned with the chilis though huh?
Ill try it on my next run as a pre-flower bug repellent/deterrent

What other herbs you have in mind?

Doc uses a habanero mix for years. This will be my first shot at it. I'm thinking lemongrass, mint, rosemary, lavender. After cooking I'll mix it at smaller ratios w Probably some peppermint oil and veg oil and some Dr bronner eucalyptus soap and water.

I took note about which plants all the bugs hated last year. So I'm ready to see if this will work. :-). I want my final product as clean as possible.and don't like using pesticides if not needed

I can vouch for that mix as well, have used variations of it outdoor for years and the bugs hate the stuff. I use either habs or cayenne powder, garlic powder, couple of drops of vegetable oil and non-antibacterial dish soap in water. Works like a charm on anything I've come across outdoor, have used it a couple of times indoor and anything including pesty flies dies or goes away. I don't see the need for chemical pesticides...

Outdoor I've used it in flower up until the last 2 weeks or so (by then our weather is cold enough bugs aren't an issue). It just washes off (outdoor it has to be continuously applied if you're getting rain regularly), some smell when it's freshly sprayed, mainly the garlic but after a couple of days it's gone. Have never seen any damage caused by the mix, the peppers must do something to bugs but they don't damage the plants at all. If anything it's like they like it as a foliar spray - lol

Nice stuff bros. I appreciate the time.

I understand and agree SG....It does seem that I can make them clean before
they go into the tent.....but with the heat, you will be quite correct. I am going to
start a new page in the log to capture sprayings.

But I have to admit that I must have one of these:

Black Flys watch out!

P.S. "Fusty" ....that must be it. :0)

What a pain....I have had to make ducts using that named tape, but
something designed properly is always preferred.

Bass, I am somewhat up in the air about The Dog. Do not get me wrong...STRONG!
...but that "burnt rubber" scent is actually a turn off.....odd...but it happens. I grew out
the amazing cross Sour Power X Biker OG Kush that SmokAl0t laid on me. I grew it
out pretty much perfectly...but that flavor just did not do it for me.

When I offer up my BB recommendation, you will note that I point at QQ, PK, and DPQ
with Blue Pit thrown in....as opposed to Dog or FBs....

There is no accounting for Taste. - O. Wilde
I have a room full of QQ so I'm liking the recommendation. But fireball is my favorite strain I've grown from them. Great body stone on my favorite pheno

Yeah you get the right Fireball pheno and it's a hard one to let go. I damn sure wish I had a couple that I've run across around still. Have one now that's got promise. It's the Frostiest plant in the room and it's only at 23 days. Also begin trichome production as soon as it showed sex. Did I mention I love Fireball!

Sounds like a winner.
