Shes doing really good. Heavy indica grower. I've been topping her for the last week or so and shes taking it well. I'm hoping I wont have much down time between harvest of the current grow and cloning off the Choc Skunk. Shes about 5 weeks from seed in this picture:

I have about 3 wks or so left with the Midnight Mass.

Got 2 good pics that show my little flower room so I thought I would share. Looked really exotic or tropical tonight with all those different strains, crosses and stages of maturity. Lot of extra work watering and feeding them individually as needed but the results are worth it.

Nice -What strain is the 11 blade leaf? I'll assume its a clone?

Thanks man. I guess you mean the plant in the second pic on the left with the huge fans. I just watered her with her first small dose of pure blend pro grow and bent and tied her down tonight.

She is from a new pack of CH9 for me. OG Kush x Trainwreck.

Thats from seed? Nice! You don't usually see that many blades on teen plants. Thats why I had assumed it to be a clone.
I have seen all kinds of different leaf counts from seeds. I never heard that before. How can a clone have it if the original plant didn't?

I just meant maturity. It had such large leaves with so many blades at such an appearant young age I assumed it to be from clone. 11 blades is something often found in mature plants.

5 plant 20L sog of random seed. Two are yet to show. And the two larger ones popped after only a few days in soil. The little one has only been above ground about 3 days. The two white pins are where the other two are. 20170107_172958.jpg

Here is a close up of the OG Kush x Trainwreck I bent and tied down last night around 10pm.

And here she is at 2am. I had to bend her a bit more already. Her top was already back dominant.

This is one vigorous girl :-)

I usually veg until I see pre flower pistils. About 35 to 45 days from seed on the CH9 female seeds.

some of them end up in a holding pattern after that but this one went right in.

I never show my veg tents. More fun to post buds. But I love the seedlings, clones and young plants so much so here are some random shots of my 2'x3' propogator tent and the 3'x3' veg tent.

Using 2' T-5 HO Sun Blaze reflectors and 6500k bulbs in both.

Hey @Motorbuds i have successfully re-vegged and am rooting some cuttings from the short stocky Blue Lemon Thai plant you liked. BLT #3 she will be known as.

Looks like 10 weeks max to a nice ECSD heavy but still lightly fruity and trippy weed with a balanced effective medical body high that helps my bad colon and joints a lot. Cured up real nice.

I got 3.5 oz of big solid nugs the first time from the seed but feel I over fed her a bit. She demands a good taper down in nute strength once her buds are formed I think. If I can get a full quality 1/4 lb. per plant and can train to fit 5 under a light I am going to be a very happy patient. ;-)

Just had to share. This is the first time I have re-vegged and really just started with clones. I grabbed some off the monster Citral x POW33 too.

Here is the BLT3 re-veg after I transplanted her to her 3 gallon pot for flowering. Best low branches taken already.

And here is her previously posted Mom.

@whitebb2727

I thought I would continue our cold roots conversation here in random pics since there is no general topic.

The house I bought out here in the woods is old and has an open "Michigan" basement. Meaning it is not sealed. It actually has rock form and plaster in the old back part. And that is where I set up tent city to get started here.

image.png

At first in the beginning of winter last year my gauges were reading above 60 degrees during the dark period. But the plants were starting to look like this for no apparent reason.

image.png

I checked everything and could not track the cause. I had been harvesting his companies genetics from seed consistently with little issue for a year previously.

So I started scoping every day for bugs. Never saw any signs of any pest or mold or anything.

I got the first 2 rounds to harvest and the buds came out ok. But very purple and very low yield from stunted plants.

Funny. They were beautiful but stunted. Everyone was complimenting me. It was good smoke. But I was getting real worried. I had already spent all my money buying and fixing up the house!

Well I started an unfortunate last round down there. And my plants started off great but by the time I wanted to be flowering they looked like this.

image.png

So I tried measuring the floor temp a few different ways. I couldn't believe it. The canopy temp guage said 58 degrees.

But the remote guage I put under the intake vent right above the porous concrete floor now said 44.

And it was getting colder. So I built the room I have been showing in the spare bedroom upstairs next to the living room.

Here are early set up pics.

And that's how bad a cold floor can hurt your grow. Lesson well learned.

Hope someone else can benefit from my experience.
