I am very happy with my 5K Cree's in veg and my three autos just started flowering under them. This is a strain I have grown before and it's know for being full of trichs and resin to begin with so I am VERY curious to see how the 5K does for them.

My 3K in Flower is killing it too, I have a sativa at 55" of height from the dirt, she went into 12/12 at 24" @ 3 weeks ago lol. These COB's continue to impress and have made me stop, sit back, and hold off on considering any further changes/testing to my lighting at the moment.
Never tried an all blue...I wanna see what that turns out to be. When we were dealing with bulbs the problem was lumen output ...with cobs this is not as much of an issue. This technology is changing the game on what we can do and it also makes experimenting as difficult as turning a screwdriver.

Apologies for the ignorance. How comes you went for 1812's and 1212's that are both the same CRI and both 3500k? Is it for spectrums?
Evil-Mobo is correct and they are all the same spectrum. I choose the 90cri because it has a bit more red in the spectrum and i wanted to see how it performs where it peaks at the 630nm side and the 80 cri peaks at the 600nm side about where HPS does. I started with 4 1812's and decided to build a canopy fixture instead of multiple fixtures so i went with the 1212's for more coverage and they have an excellent price. I am running it over a 3x4 space so its 12sq/ft and i have 10 cobs so its almost a cob per sq/ft.

Ok so I made some progress on the controller today but it all seemed up-hill. I went through 3 soldering irons today, a cheap one and two expensive ones.......... wow. Five trips to the hardware store. Then my back started hurting so I took some of my new chocolate Moby Dick CBD meds I made last night.
I'm just baked. I decided to halt work on the controller so I don't hurt myself or the controller and I need to cut my dosage in half next time.

The dining room table looks a little better. I hope my wife notices the progress

How are they supposed to stack up against the rest? They're about 25% cheaper for me vs cree 3590 for example.
I dont really know, but I think they beat the CXB3590.
Really hoping Supra or Cobkits or Robin, one of the experts will measure them
